PureMetro
Non-Zero Dispersion Shifted Single-Mode Fiber
ITU-T G.655.D
Sumitomo Electric Industries, Ltd. (SEI) offers a non-zero dispersion shifted single-mode optical fiber PureMetro for DWDM system, which enables customers to construct high performance networks for voice, video and/or data transmission. The fiber, its high performances are achieved through a germanium doped silica core and a silica cladding made by the Vapor Phase Axial Deposition (VAD) method, meets international standards such as ITU-T G. 655 C and D. A dual layer acrylate is coated over the cladding to provide high product reliability, and tight core/cladding concentricity error allows easy and low loss splicing.
