Organisation

This soccer passing drill is performed with one ball. Players change their positions continuously in alphabetical order.
Description

Players perform different combinations. This soccer passing exercise contains two variations. The emphasis is laid on receiving skills in different environment. The player in the middle receives the ball by stepping out from the sticks.

Set Up

Variation 1: Player B plays (9) the ball to space to Player C.

Variation 1:

Variation 2: Player C receives the ball and steps out from between the sticks. The direction of his receiving can be varied in different angles.
Coaching Points

Innervate Overlapping - Improve Cooperation and Basic Combination


Organisation

Players and equipment are arranged as shown. Distances have to be adequate to the agegroup. This soccer drill is performed to both directions. Players work in groups of 3, they change their positions continuously in circles in the group.
Description

Both variations of this soccer passing exercise are performed with 4 balls together. P1 always starts the exercise in each group. Players try to combine with one touch, move without the ball in a right way and work in a high-level cooperation.

Soccer Passing Drill Set Up

Player 1 plays the ball to Player 2 and overlaps behind him. Player 2 passes it with one touch to Player 3, who lays the ball off. Player 1 performs a sharp, low pass to Player 3 positioning in the opposite side.

Soccer passing exercise countinues the same way.

Innervate One-Touch Passing and Cooperation in Square


Organisation

Players and equipment are arranged as shown. 11 players take part in the exercise, 3 of them are wall players who work in the square and identified with different coloured vests. The players change the wall players' positions periodically for the coach's sign. This soccer passing exercise is performed in both directions. Duration: 2-3 min. Rest: 1 min.
Description

Players perform this soccer passing exercise with 2 balls and they must play with one touch. The wall players' direction of movement is free in the square but they must always be playable so that the play will be continuous.

Soccer Passing Drill Set Up

In the first variation Player 1 and Player 3 start the soccer passing drill together. Both players make a wall pass with one of the wall players by the sticks and performs a low pass to the next player. Then the soccer drill continues the same way. The wall players must concentrate and make supporting movements constantly.

In the second variation the wall players can decide whether to make wall pass with one touch or receive the ball. In the case of receiving the wall player performs a low pass to the next player. The other players must react it.
