1.Home Security Restricted Entry

Circuit Diagram:

Apparatus Required:
1. 2. 3. 4. 5. 6. 10K Resistance 68K Resistance 1K Resistance 0.1uF and 1uF capacitors Timer IC NE 555 And a Speaker

Working:
When the thin wire is connected to PIN 4 and PIN 1 of IC the circuit will not respond. We will set it behind the door in such a way that the thin wire tears when the door is opened. When PIN 4 and PIN 1 will be disconnected the speaker will produce a noise and the house members will be aware that someone has entered through the door.

2.Remote Tester & Sunlight Detector

Circuit Diagram:

Apparatus Required:
1. 2. 3. 4. 5. 6. 7. IC LM7805 SM 0038 IR Sensor Buzzer Several Resistances BC 557 Transistor LED Power Supply 9V

Working:
When the IR sensor detects a signal from TV/DVD/CD remote or any other sources producing a frequency matching the remotes frequency, the circuit will respond to the signal resulting a flash in the LED and at the same time a sharp whistle in the buzzer. The circuit will also respond in the sunlight.

Working:
The infra-red (IR) toggle switch project described here is aimed to provide control mechanism for electrical appliances that do not have remote operation features. The goal is to construct a black box where you can plug-in your 120V AC appliance and control ON and OFF operations with any modern IR remote control devices.

Modern IR remote controls generate modulated pulse train of 38KHz frequency when any key on the remote is pressed. With the use of capacitive filtering we will convert the stream of pulses into one pulse regardless of the key entered. This way, we will be able to toggle a relay switch with any key pressed on the remote.

4.Digital Water Level Indicator

Circuit Diagram:

Apparatus Required:
1. IC 74HC147 2. IC CD4511BE 3.BC 547 Transistor 4.LED 5. 5V DC Supply 6. 7-segment-Display 7.Resistances etc.

Working:
When the tank is empty, all the inputs of IC1 remain high. As a result, its output also remains high, making all the inputs of IC2 low. Display LTS543 at this stage shows 0, which means the tank is empty. Similarly, when the water level reaches L-1 posi-tion, the display shows 1, and when the water level reaches L-8 position, the display shows 8. Finally, when the tank is full, all the inputs of IC1 become low and its output goes low to make all the inputs of IC2 high. Display LTS543 now shows 9, which means the tank is full.

5.Thermal Switching
Circuit Diagram:

Apparatus Required:
1. 2. 3. 4. 12V CPU Fan 12 V power Supply Fluorescent Starter Candle

Working:
When the candle is lighted up , the starter material will expand and will be attached together. Then the fan will turn on and the candle will be turned off. The starter material will be detached.

6.Potato Battery Driven LED

Circuit Appearence:

Apparatus Required:
1.Potato 2. Salt Solution 3. Anode and Cathode 4.Wire 5. LED etc

Working:
Each potato will give around 0.85V of supply. We will connect 6 potatoes in series and get almost 5V. This voltage will drive the LED.The voltage is produced by the OxidationReduction in the salt solution. It is really a power cell in disguise of potato.
