Mavrovo and Rostua (Macedonian: aWikipedia:Media helpFile:Mk-Mavrovo i Rostusha.ogg) is a municipality in western Republic of Macedonia. The municipal seat is located in the village of Rostua. This municipality is part of the Polog Statistical Region.
Geography
The municipality borders Gostivar Municipality to the north, Zajas Municipality to the east, Debar Municipality and Drugovo Municipality to the south and Albania to the west.

The municipality consists of the following villages: Adievci, Beliica, Bibaj, Bitue, Bogdevo, Boletin, Cerovo, Duf, Galinik, Grekaj, Jane, Kiinica, Krakornica, Lazaropole, Leunovo, Mavrovi Anovi, Mavrovo, Nipur, Nikiforovo, Nistrovo, Nivite, Novo Selo, Orkjue, Prisojnica, Ribnica, Rosoki, Rostua, Selce, Sence, Skudrinje, Sretkovo, Suica, Tanue, Trebite, Tresone, Velebrdo, Vidue, Volkovija, Vrben, Vrbjani, irovnica, unje
Demographics
According to the last national census from 2002, this municipality has 8,618 inhabitants.[2] Ethnic groups in the municipality include: Macedonians = 4,349 (50.5%) Turks = 2,680 (31.1%) Albanians = 1,483 (17.2%) others.
