DESIGN 1 Organic and inorganic waste is been separated for easier collection.

the bins is also been label and colour differently so it is easier to recognize. When the bins are full, the inorganic waste will be collected by special authorities for further process. While the organic waste is then be used for vermicomposting to make an eco-friendly fertilizer. Both of the bins are made up 100% from organic materials such as plastic. Plastic been used as it is light in weight, does not rust or rot, helps lower the transportation cost and conserve natural resources. The dimension of the bins is 60x60x60 cm with the size of cube and the volume of 216000cm3. The bins is in average size is because the average waste produce by the Vietnamese is only 53.4% of its population which means it does not required a large scale of bins. The bins also small in size as most of the villagers still live in a traditional Vietnamese stilts houses which is small and made from woods. The bins is label in local language and colour differently so it make it easier to be recognize. The bin can only be open when a pressure is place on the lever which is on the side of both bins. When the bins is open, the front side will move forward giving a gap on top of the bin way waste can be throw in . The recycle materials such as glass, paper and plastics is then been collected by specials authorities to bring to the recycling centre for further process. The kitchen waste is then been used to feed the worms for vermicomposting. The recycling bins are made up from two different materials which is 90% aluminium and 10% plastics. Aluminium is been used as it is stronger than plastic and lighter then wood. It can withstand the average household waste in Vietnams. Plastic is used for the lever and internal bins are because it is light in weight and helps to conserve the environment. The bins have the dimension of 100x50x60 cm with the size of a cuboid and a volume of 300000 cm3.
