Ericsson GSM BSC Printout

Each Ericsson GSM BSC dump file contains both carrier parameter and neighbor information. There is no site information in Ericsson GSM BSC dump file. Therefore, you have to import the TEMS Cel-file first before you can import the dump file. Supported release are from R10 to R8B.

Implementation Notes

User can import one or more Ericsson GSM BSC Dump files. Carrier and neighbor data from the same BSC of the importing BSC Dump file will be removed prior to import. Any cell data found to have same CellId in the project database and importing dump file will be removed prior to import. User can choose whether to remove all GSM existing carrier & neighbor data before importing including cells from BSC that are not found in the importing data. WCDMA cell data or unknown band cell will not be affected. Importing Ericsson BSC dump will not affect Site configuration information. User can choose whether to match the carrier and neighbor data to the site configuration using LAC & CI combination or CI combination or CELL parameter.

Parsing Error Types

Empty file. Unsupported file format. File printout error (data there has improper ending command). Cell that does not match Site record using the selected matching method. Invalid file version.
