0he Delta-glider (D') is the ideal ship /or the no.ice pilot to get space!orne$ )ts /uturistic design concept1 high thrust and e2tre"ely low /uel consu"ption "a%e it easy to achie.e or!it1 and it can e.en !e used /or interplanetary tra.el$ 0he winged design pro.ides aircra/t-li%e handling in the lower at"osphere1 while the .ertically "ounted ho.er-thrusters allow .ertical ta%eo//s and landings independent o/ at"ospheric conditions and runways$ 0wo .ersions are a.aila!le# 0he standard D' is e3uipped with "ain1 retro and ho.er engines$ 0he scra"4et .ersion (D'-S) has in addition two air!reathing scra"4et engines /itted1 which can !e used /or supersonic at"ospheric /light$ 0he scra"4ets ha.e an operational airspeed range o/ Mach +-5$ 0he glider co"es with operating landing gear1 nose cone doc%ing port1 airloc% door1 deploya!le radiator and ani"ated aerodyna"ic control sur/aces$ )t now supports particle e2haust e//ects$

0he delta-glider pro.ides a +-D .irtual coc%pit (*C) "ode in addition to the 2-D panel "ode$ 0he *C puts you in the pilot=s seat1 with the head-up display in /ront o/ you1 and all controls and displays within easy reach$ :ou can operate switches and le.ers with the "ouse$ >oo% around you !y pressing the right "ouse !utton and dragging the "ouse1 !y using 1 or with the coolie hat on your 4oystic%$ :ou can also lean le/t1 right and /orward with

Mo/ing 0et1een .C positions 0he de/ault .irtual coc%pit position places you in the pilot=s seat1 !ehind the pane o/ the head-up display and with access to all instru"ents and /light controls$ :ou can howe.er also switch your position to any o/ the ( passenger seats in the ca!in1 /or e2a"ple to e2perience the replay o/ a recorded /light /ro" a passenger=s perspecti.e$ 0o switch to a di//erent *C position1 use Ctrlarrow %ey co"!inations$ 0he picture illustrates the di//erent 4u"p paths$

RC and aerod2na-i+ +ontrol sele+tion 0he , C0-> selector is used to acti.ate control o/ aerodyna"ic sur/aces .ia "anual user input$ Manipulating the control sur/aces is only e//ecti.e within an at"osphere at su//iciently high dyna"ic pressures$ 0he settings are# O,, (control sur/aces disconnected)1 O; (control sur/aces ena!led)1 and ?)0C8 (only pitch control ena!led)$ 0he -CS MOD@ selector sets the -eaction Control Syste" "ode which is used to control attitude in /ree space$ During at"ospheric /light1 when aerodyna"ic control sur/aces are acti.e1 the -CS is usually disa!led$ 0he selector can !e set to O,, (-CS disa!led)1 -O0 (-CS in rotational "ode)1 and >); (-CS in linear "ode)$ Aoth selectors can !e set with the le/t and right "ouse !uttons$ Shortcuts /or -CS are
