PERFORMANCE NOTES
The test set up and measurements were taken in general accordance with the following standards :HEVAC Technical Specification 4th edition (Laboratory testing and rating of weather louvers when subjected to simulated rain) Air Movement and Control Association (AMCA Publication 511-91 REV. 10/1996). International Standard ISO 3741 Clause 8.3 (Method 11) (Acoustics Determination of Sound Power Levels of Noise Sources Precision Methods for Broad Band Sources in Reverberation Rooms).

TEST SET UP AND PROCEDURE Reverberation Test Room has a volume of 170m3 has been qualified in accordance with the procedures in ISO 3741 for determination of sound power in octave bands with Centre Frequencies from 125 Hz to 8000 Hz. The Units under test were set up in the Air Distribution (Reverberation) Test Chamber and connected to a quiet air supply. The units were supplied with ambient temperature air at the specified airflow. The environmental test conditions in the reverberation chamber varied for each test within the following ranges : Test Air Temperature Room Air Temperature Barometric Pressure Relative Humidity 18 degrees C 2.0 degree C 20 degrees C 2.0 degree C 1040 millibar 5 millibar 60 10%
