Experiment No. 1- Selection of 5 inspirations 1.Material required: Magazines, online images, glue, textured sheet, pastel sheet 2. Learning Objectives: Importance of inspiration How to extract theme/inspiration from different things like nature, abstract themes, punk fashion etc.

Outline of the Procedure First we take inspiration from anywhere like nature, wild life, modern art, warrior,life & punk culture & so on.,to finalizing the inspiration, next step is creating a mood board related to inspiration by collecting visuals of same. 4. Required Result The students will come to know what is the purpose of creating inspiration board 5. Caution Inspiration board should be related with the basic concept.

Experiment No.2 Finalization of one inspiration & development of mood board 1.Material required: Magazines, online images, glue, textured sheet, pastel sheet, colored markers, scissors, thermocol, card board etc. 2. Learning Objectives: How to extract the keywords from inspiration board How to develop a mood board 3. Outline of the Procedure After finalizing the inspiration, next step is developing a mood board related to Inspiration by collecting visuals of same . Finalize the mood board. 4. Required Result The students will come to know what the purpose of creating inspiration and mood board is. 5. Caution Mood board should reflect the keywords.

Experiment No.3 Design Brief &Color Board 1. Material required: Magazines, online images, glue, textured sheet, pastel sheet,colored markers, scissors, thermocol, card board and drawing book, pencil, eraser etc. 2. Learning Objectives: How to select specific colors from the mood board How to present the idea to the client in a simple format. 3. Outline of the Procedure Create a color palette either inspiration or mood-board, we do choose 5-6 more catchy color from mood board. Than place it on a sheet with their hue name. Than we prepare design brief, and decide the market, season , silhouette ,texture, client profile, collection name, age group etc. 4. Required Result The students will come to know what the purpose of creating colorpalette and design brief is. 5. Caution Keep in mind the client requirement

Experiment No.4: Fabric development & design idea generation 1. Material required: Swatches of different fabrics & other related material. Magazines, online images, glue, textured sheet, pastel sheet, colored markers, scissors, thermocol, card board and drawing book, pencil, eraser,

2. Learning Objectives: To develop the availability to select the right fabric, material based on inspiration, season, client look, etc. To draw the flats for the specific designs. 3. Outline of the Procedure The students will go to market and source of different fabrics based on textures and colors matching. Develop a fabric related to their theme. Create flats of particular garment, gave variations to develop the collection or range 4. Required Result Enhance the designing & creativity skills 5. Caution Keep in mind the textures & silhouette of design while material sourcing.

Experiment No.5 Illustration of final range (8 outfits) 1.Material required: Magazines, online images, glue, textured sheet, pastel sheet, colored markers, scissors, thermocol, card board and drawing book, pencil, eraser, colorsetc 2. Learning Objectives: How to develop designs How to do colors on draped croquie, Learn the coloring techniques as per the swatches and gave them real look 3. Outline of the Procedure: Create 8 stylized fashion figures and drape the selected outfits on them with accurate silhouette. Choose any wet or dry color medium and do coloring on draped stylized croquie with proper effects 4. Required Result Enhance the creativity and designing skills. 5. Caution Take care of silhouettes, colors and fabric design.

Experiment no.6 Final product 1. Material required marker, measuring tape, pencil,fabric pins, l-scale, French curve, needle threads, rubber etc. 2. Learning Objectives: How to cut fabric according to design. How to stitch the garment 3. Outline of the Procedure Cut the fabric according to the design. 4. Required Result Final Product 5. Caution Take care of the design while cutting the fabric.
