G ift Card Box Patter n

Add a personal touch to your gift-card

presents by making the box yourself. It
doesn’t take much to make this darling
little box come to life. Wrap with a simple
ribbon or decorate with an assortment of
your favorite paper-craft supplies.

Read through all instructions before beginning.

Materials List
TRAY
• 8.5” x 11“ or larger double-sided cardstock fold
• glue stick up D
• paper-scoring tool
• Xacto knife 2

• embellishments of your choice

1. Cut out Tray & Sleeve - Cut one tray and one sleeve
from cardstock, using provided pattern as a guide.
Score where indicated by dotted lines. Cut where
indicated by solid lines. SLEEVE

2. Form Tray - Fold flaps A & B toward wrong side of glue G & H together
at side of sleeve
paper. Fold up side C and glue to flaps. Repeat with H
side F and flaps D & E at opposite end of tray.

3. Form Sleeve - Fold sleeve along score lines, forming a
rectangular tube. Make sure featured side of paper is on G
outside. Overlap side G onto flap H & glue.

4. Embellish Box - Embellish outside of sleeve as desired. SLEEVE

Get creative with ribbons, buttons, brads, photos,
crystals, flowers, etc, or keep things simple with a single
ribbon tied around the middle.

5. Assemble & Complete - Slide tray into sleeve. Add a
