Implementing circulation procedures and policies that includes issuing library cards, checking out items, discharging items, updating patron accounts, packing library items for transit to other library, picking items for the holds list, locating lost items for patrons, billing damaged and lost items, settling overdue fines, placing and locating claims returned, and additional tasks as designated by circulation supervisors. Overseeing circulation desk when needed by the supervisor. Preparing the department for opening and closing that includes turning on and shutting down computers and register.

Creating and maintaining fiction and audio displays. Assisting patrons in locating library items including books (fiction and non-fiction), CDs, DVDs, audiobooks, Playaways, and periodicals. Answering patron inquires at the readers advisory desk and reference responsibilities when needed. Shelving items such as shelving CDs and DVDs.
