ABSTRACT:

A method for managing network services on the plurality of network servers in a computer network . The method includes the step of providing at least one service component in a component repository. The service component corresponds to one of the network services. There is also included the step of providing a server manager component, which communicates with the component repository to ascertain the presence of the service component. Additionally, the method includes the step of executing a service object associated with the service component. When executed, the service object communicates with the plurality of network servers to obtain network service instantiation data relating to instantiations of the one of the network services on the plurality of network servers. The method also includes the step of passing the network service instantiation data to a server manager window component for displaying a status of the instantiations responsive to the network service instantiation data.

Remote etwork Administration allows network administrators to manage their networks while being physically separated from the network e!uipment. "aving the capability to manage wired and wireless networks securely, from remote locations, can substantially reduce operating expenses across the entire #epartment of #efense. A variety of methods for remotely managing networks is explored for both wired and wireless networks. Re!uirements for remote network administration are identified. $hief among them is security and the ability to remotely manage power. %everal widely&used remote management utilities are examined. All fail to meet these two re!uirements. A new power control device is presented that can be managed securely and remotely.

Introduction:
Remote etwork Administration' is a service offering a full function network, which provides its authori(ed users with the ability to monitor and manage the connected clients. This software will benefit the administrator in lab to manage the clients. As the usage of computer grows it becomes necessary to computeri(e every functions of day&to&day life. owadays another computer through network can facilitate one computer. This avoids the loss of time and memory. The computers in every organi(ation will be connected each other. This project gives an administrative power to the server. The software can do chatting and sharing resources between computers. )ur system provides some restrictions for the clients. *t gives the system a role of administrator in an organi(ation. )ur system is highly user friendly and interacting. )ur system can view all users connected with the server. )ur system can view the hardware status of the client and all process currently running under the client machine. We can transfer the needed files from and to the system. )ur system supports chatting and also we can catch the client screen and can visuali(e that to the administrator. )ur system helps the administrator to kill the unwanted process running on the client machine. The administrator can shut down, restart and log off the client system. We are confident that this project will benefit every administrator in delivering his duties.

A user can select one of the friends online to initiate private chatting.

HOW TO USE
)ur software is very user friendly. -veryone can learn it easily. Connection Setup This module makes a list of all clients currently connected to our server. +or that you have to choose connection setup from the file menu or choose the first icon from the tool bar. .ou can select any one of the clients from the list, to get connected to that particular machine. Client Information This module displays the hardware and software details of the connected client machine. Administration This module helps you to logoff, restart, shutdown the client machine, and also listing and killing of processes that are currently running in the connected client machine. User Accounting "ere you can change the password of user of our software. Utilities This module our software facilitates chatting, file transferring, catching the screen of connected client machine. +or $hatting you have to start the $hat %erver in the %erver machine.)ur $hat %erver supports two types of chatting, ,ublic chatting and ,rivate $hatting. ,ublic chatting is the chatting between all the logged in users.,rivate $hatting is carried out between only two users. When a client machine user opt uploading, he can upload any file that is available in his

machine. The uploaded files are saved to /+T, %-R0-R #*R-$T)R./ in the server machine When a client machine user opt downloading, he will get a list of downloadable files.*f he wanted to download a file he has to choose one file from that list. The files stored in the /#)W 1)A#%/ directory of the server machine are available for downloading.
