Problem Description

Health Check was not able to identify the Application issues as it was checking more on the Server parametrs. Alert notifications for Database size limit when crosses the threshold limit for SharePoint Application.This way team can work in adavance to get new database for site.

MOSS 2007 - My Site User profile synchronization service stopped working on farm (PRS02784). Which is impacting the creation of new user's My sites.

All emails sent to UM or DYN groups are not filtered by Postini which could result into SPAM/Virus being sent to group email Id's

Documentum application (multiple different reposiories) goes down frequently because of the hung threads caused by memory. Incremental Crawl Service which indexes the newly added SharePoint contents on daily basis gets hanged up if huge data being uploaded to SharePoint Applications during the day. There is a clashes between backup and incremental crawl jobs as crawl takes long time to index such huge new contents. which results in failure of seraching the new contents in SharePoint Portal. SharePint Service hosted server was not responding/responding very slow due to which it was a major impact on plant floor as service was stooped and not processin the excel files to SharePoint Site. BAU team has manually archived old logs so server server started responding. Regular activity/Schedule job to remove back up of sharepoint site after evry 30 days.Currently there is no process in place which freed up backup drive space which is being taken up on daily basis for SharePoint sites. Unauthorized access are present in SVN are as there is no tool or script is present to check same. For each leaver, need to go to each and every repository then delete users which can lead to mistakes or can miss some removal of leavers from repositories.

CMM Service -Automated excel file uploading process in SharePoint gets stuck as mandatory metatdata values conatins special chars and char daat in numeric field. Log size is getting high as files faulty files are getting processed mutliplte times and server gets hang out. Daily around 50-100 files are being processed and uploaded on SharePoint portal and impact is high on business.

Workflow Deadlock issue when approvers approves the request being made by user in sharePoint Portal. Workflow tasks are geeting locked out intenally by SharePoint System which is imapcting many business approval system.

1. Manually add new users to user profile service in farm PRS02784 2. Plan to immediately migarte 2007 My SharePoint - User sites to new version 2010 so that User's Profile Service My sites and SharePoint portals will be on same server. Add all the existing UM and DYN group to Postini filtering by adding them as an alias to user account. Also identifying the process to add all newly created groups to Postini hereafter. Postini Filtering Sysweb team to analyze and tweak the existing JRE configuration for all the documentum application considering the total physical memory available on the server. Java Heap Size 1. Automated Alerts system so that Admin team should get notified. SharePoint 2. Admin team has to clear cache and Crawl Service reconfigure the service in different slots.
