ORACLE CORPORATION, Reston, VA, 1999 to 2004 PRINCIPAL CONSULTANT - Provided Oracle training, business analysis, and systems testing support to Oracles DoD clients. Tapped to turn around a multimillion-dollar implementation project for the United States Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) that had fallen behind schedule; configured the PA module, wrote an end to end system test script, tested the system, resolved bugs using Oracle Metalink, and met very aggressive Go Live deadline. Co-created a customized best-in-breed training program to teach Oracle Project Accounting and other software programs to 600 Naval Facilities Engineering Command (NAVFAC) users at multiple locations. Troubleshot ongoing user issues and provided high-touch continuous training support to resistant users. In Project Accounting (PA) Lead role for Military Sealift Command (MSC) client, eliminated millions of dollars in accounting errors by identifying, troubleshooting, and resolving ongoing accounting issues and creating Oracle refresher courses to ensure users were using the product properly and optimizing its value.
