Re-recordings from 9/1 1/01

From: Manager, Boston TRACON, A90-1

To: Manager, Evaluations and Investigation Staff,

AAT-20

Please find attached the certified re-recordings of voice tapes from all landlines in the
Traffic Management Unit (TMU), the Operational Supervisor in Charge (OSIC) Position
and the Operational Supervisor (OS) Position from September 11, 2001, 0800 to 1200
local.

The "skip silence" feature was utilized in the making of the re-recordings. This feature
allows the listener to skip portions of the tape where nothing was said, thereby
eliminating the need to listen to "blank" space and compressing the actual length of the
tape.

"I hereby certify this data is derived from the Digital Voice Recording System data
received from September 11, 2001, 1200 UTC to September 11, 2001, 1605 UTC.
