The Environmental Protection Department (EPD) has commissioned ERM-Hong Kong, Limited (ERM) to conduct a Business Impact Assessment (BIA) study on the new Producer Responsibility Scheme (PRS) on glass beverage bottles. As the proposed mandatory scheme may have an impact on the businesses of your members, we would like to invite you to attend a Focus Group Discussion session on 5 December 2013 at 2:30 pm, or 6 December 2013 at 9:30 am for you to express your views on any concerns the PRS may have on your members businesses. The sessions will be held in ERM office at Quarry Bay. The sessions will be conducted in Cantonese. If you would like to express you view in English, please indicate so in the reply slip. A bilingual invitation pack, including briefing materials on the PRS is attached to this invitation. We anticipate that each session will last for approximately 1.5-2 hours. Please complete the reply slip attached and return to us by 2 December 2013 if you wish to attend one of the Focus Group Discussion sessions. Please kindly note that due to the limited number of seats, we may be required to limit the number of representatives (3-4 attendees nominated by your Association) attending the sessions. A notification email will be sent to you to confirm your registration by 3 December 2013.
