12 Gems for Wives

Prov. 31:11-12 Her husband has full confidence in her and lacks nothing of value. She brings him good, not harm, all the days of her life. Titus 2:11-12 For the grace of God has appeared that offers salvation to all people. It teaches us to say No to ungodliness and worldly passions, and to live self-controlled, upright and godly lives in this present age I Cor. 6:19 Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own. Romans 12:10 Be devoted to one another in love. Honor one another above yourselves. Matthew 22:30 At the resurrection people will neither marry nor be given in marriage; they will be like the angels in heaven. Rom. 12:1-2 Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of Gods mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to Godthis is your true and proper worship. Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what Gods will ishis good, pleasing and perfect will. I Tim. 6:6-7 But godliness with contentment is great gain. For we brought nothing into the world, and we can take nothing out of it. Rom. 12:12 Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer. Titus 2:3-5 Likewise, teach the older women to be reverent in the way they live, not to be slanderers or addicted to much wine, but to teach what is good. Then they can urge the younger women to love their husbands and children, to be self-controlled and pure, to be busy at home, to be kind, and to be subject to their husbands, so that no one will malign the word of God. Gen. 2:24 That is why a man leaves his father and mother and is united to his wife, and they become one flesh. I Pet. 3:3-6 Your beauty should not come from outward adornment, such as elaborate hairstyles and the wearing of gold jewelry or fine clothes. Rather, it should be that of your inner self, the unfading beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is of great worth in Gods sight. For this is the way the holy women of the past who put their hope in God used to adorn themselves. They submitted themselves to their own husbands, like Sarah, who obeyed Abraham and called him her lord. You are her daughters if you do what is right and do not give way to fear. I Pet. 2:9 But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, Gods special possession, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light. Is. 43:4 Since you are precious and honored in my sight, and because I love you,I will give people in exchange for you, nations in exchange for your life. Ps. 62:5-8 Yes, my soul, find rest in God; my hope comes from him. Truly he is my rock and my salvation; he is my fortress, I will not be shaken. My salvation and my honor depend on God; he is my mighty rock, my refuge. Trust in him at all times, you people; pour out your hearts to him, for God is our refuge. Matt. 6:33 But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. Matt. 22:37-38 Jesus replied: Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your 38 mind. This is the first and greatest commandment.
