The history of Crane Fluid Systems began in 1906 when the original owner opened doors as a coppersmith, and Crane Co. acquired the company in 1919. Following the acquisition, the company broadened its product offerings to include bronze and iron valves, fittings, and associated fluid handling products. Today, the company is one of the UKs leading manufacturers of valves for heating and ventilation, processing, and general industrial applications.

Dominator Z3000
Crane designed the Dominator Z3000 to improve the installation efficiency of the valves and fittings associated with fan coil units. The Z3000 combines the essential components and connecting pipework associated with fan coils into a single, compact, fully assembled unit ready to install. By combining these elements, the Z3000 gives known flow characteristics and provides benefits to design engineers, installers, and end users alike. For design engineers, the Z3000 allows simple specification of just one factory guaranteed and tested unit. For the installer, there are considerable savings in onsite time and costs. For the end customer, there is much improved value for the money on the entire project.
Pipe Fittings
We manufacture a wide range of malleable iron and bronze taper threaded pipe fittings, which have been produced at the Ipswich facility since 1928. Today, our plant is one of Europes most modern facilities for large volume production of malleable iron fittings.
M Crane Pro-Tee.
Pro-Balance
The Crane Pro-Balance range of balancing valves has been designed to give fast, effective commissioning, using fixed orifice technology and enhanced regulating performance. Our product development team has taken the balancing design concept a significant step forward by incorporating a fixed orifice into the regulating valve. This design allows for simple selection of the valve, using a single calibration line without the need to refer to handwheel positions. The most convenient way to use the Pro-Balance valve is in the down position. This orientation is most common when the valve is fitted to ceiling spaces such as those used for fan coil units. The valve, however, can be used in any orientation without any change in performance. Product selection for all Crane balancing products is made easy via the Crane Flow 2002 PC software which is available free upon request or can be downloaded from the Crane Fluid Systems website www.cranefs.com.
Pro-Tee
The Crane Pro-Tee valve replaces the traditional components needed at branch tees, providing an innovative and compact solution to branch isolation and connection. The Pro-Tee is a fusion of Crane expertise in malleable fittings and valve production, and it offers specifiers and installers a unique opportunity to save space, time, and money. The Pro-Tee is an integrated combination of all of the components traditionally needed at branch tees in heating and ventilation systems. It combines the isolating valve, union, tee, and copper compression adapter into one single, compact unit. With just one compact component to fit, the Crane Pro-Tee makes branch installation much more efficient and economical. Apart from the significant benefits of having fewer components to purchase and fit, installed cost savings of up to 30% can be achieved.
