General Job Questions:

Why are you applying for this job? The position of Coordinator of Revolutionary Instruction and Implementation will give me the opportunity to use my prior success in battle and the liberation of the Northern South American nations to these similar goals for the United States revolutionary efforts. What has been your greatest accomplishment? The warfare tactics that I was able to employ successfully and loyal following of my troops which I was able to recruit often from enemy lines marked my greatest accomplishment of my career. If hired, how long do you expect to work? My focus is on completing the task on hand so I would remain committed until the job is done. Prove of this is that I resigned to the Presidency of Venezuela to continue my military campaign because the goal of freeing all Northern South American nations was still not accomplished.

Why do you believe in the "cause" of revolution? I have discussed this extensively in many published works and speeches, however in the summer of 1815 in my Letter from Jamaica I summarized it as: A state too expensive in itself, or by virtue of its dependencies, ultimately falls into decay; its free government is transformed into a tyranny; it disregards the principles which it should preserve, and finally degenerates into despotism. If we are not allowed our rights as people and nations then we have to claim them for our own and future generations. What is a revolutionary? In a speech to the Congress of Angostura in 1819, I explained that it is because of those who mistake pure illusion for reality, license for freedom, treason for patriotism, and vengeance for justice that we must promote a political revolution. One that lets the entire system of government be strengthened, and lets the balance of power be drawn up in such a manner that it will be permanent and incapable of decay because of its own tenacity. A revolutionary is one that gives to our republic a fourth power with authority over the youth, the hearts of men, public spirit, habits, and republican morality. If a government soldier arrests you, what would you do? My loyalty will always remain to the revolution and therefore no arrest or torture will ever waiver my resolve; As I expressed to the people of Colombia, If my death contributes to the end of partisanship and the consolidation of the union, I shall be lowered in peace into my grave. What would you do if your replacement doesn't show up when it's time for you to go home? I never clock out of my duties therefore I will remain available. A government soldier treats a citizen unfairly, what would you do? My belief, as I professed in 1819 during The Angostura Address is that proper morals, and not force, are the bases of law; and that to practice justice is to practice liberty. A

government soldier has a responsibility to every citizen of fair treatment and I would expose this behavior and try to correct it. A co-revolutionary is rude to citizens, what would you do? Every co-revolutionary has an obligation to show respect and as this job description specifies it is my responsibility to supervise and train them so this does not happen, conduct observations and evaluate them if it does happen or is at risk of happening.
