I dont feel that I should burden others with my problems but if you come to me, and prove to me that you really do care, I might just trust you enough to let you help. Sometimes you just need to distance yourself from people. If they care, theyll notice. If they dont you know where you stand. Do not stand at my grave and weep; I am not there. I do not sleep. When you awaken in the mornings hush I am the swift uplifting rush Of quiet birds in circled flight. I am the soft stars that shine at night. Do not stand at my grave and cry; I am not there. Now the sheep applaud the sheep dogs for eliminating the wolves.. The flock is safe and they rejoice, but give it time.. Soon the sheep will forget all about the wolves and once again complain about the sheep dogs.. The sheep dogs, however, will NOT forget.. The wolves will return again, one day, to harm the sheep. Be assured, the sheep dogs will remain vigilant, poised and ever ready to protect the flock and, once again, fight off the wolves..

We have an incredible warrior class in this country - people in law enforcement, intelligence - and I thank God every night we have them standing fast to protect us from the tremendous amount of evil that exists in the world.

Most of us get injured periodically while doing our jobs, but so do plenty of other professions. Most of us will die of natural causes in old age, when that does not happen, when we fall in the line of duty, it is in the protection of you, it is a life well lived in the service of others.
