Georg Inderst is an independent adviser to pension funds, institutional investors and international organizations. Previously he was a Professional Trustee and Director of Law Debenture Pension Trust Corporation in London, a Director of F&C Investment Management where he headed the Global Asset Allocation and Fixed Interest teams. Georg is frequently asked to speak and write about institutional investment topics and we are honoured to have Georg give insights on how to best invest in infrastructure taking into account lessons learned from Australian and Canadian pension funds based on his paper published in July 2013.
Amarik is a Senior Associate within Manager Research, a unit within Mercer's Investments business. Based in London, he is part of the Alternatives Boutique where he is involved in Mercer's research of infrastructure investments globally, and covers managers based in Europe. In this role, Amarik produces research materials and intellectual capital on the asset class, serves on Mercer's Infrastructure Ratings Review Committee and advises institutional investors on manager selection, portfolio construction and implementation of such investments. Werner joined Charterhouse (which subsequently became InfraRed) in 1995 having previously held roles in Property Investment, Corporate Finance and Private Equity in the U.S. and Germany. As Joint Chief Executive of Charterhouse Bank, Werner, together with many of the current senior InfraRed team members, restructured the Bank into a private equity investment business focusing on infrastructure and real estate. Since then, he has focused on developing strategy and driving the evolution and growth of the business, and has been closely involved in selecting and monitoring investments. Mathias joined AXA Group in 2005 to set up and head its Infrastructure investment business. Prior to this, he was Head of HSBC Advisory and Project Financing activities in France. Over his 20 years experience in the infrastructure sector, he has developed an extensive relationship network with European infrastructure strategic and nancial sponsors as well as public authorities and regulators. Laurence is responsible for managing the infrastructure debt funds within Aviva Investors infrastructure fund management business. Prior to joining Aviva Investors, she was Head of Credit Infrastructure and the Public Sector at Depfa where she was responsible for the management of over 20 billion of infrastructure loan assets.
