Our language courses in London (classes offered in Spanish, French, English, Italian and German) consist of a series of 8 or 12 hour per day, one-to-one language training sessions using the immersion method. We have a reputation for offering a language training method that works. This requires the skills of very carefully selected and enthusiastic language tutors who are the best in their field. We are not satisfied with just "teaching" a client a new language- we help the client to communicate in that language. This is a much more difficult task. Please remember we only offer our language courses in Spanish, French, German, Italian and English and that this intensive language training is only available in London. Our courses are flexible and can adapt to any busy professional or private timetable.

TO DRIVE OR NOT TO DRIVE You are planning a holiday in Ireland. You would like to visit a lot of places while you are there, but you are a little worried about driving around the island. You think it would be a good idea to concentrate on the biggest towns, where you can get around using public transport. Something you have read on the Internet seems to confirm your fears (see below). Try to persuade the other candidate that this is the best option. Remember that you cannot show this paper to the other candidate. These are some points that you can discuss: : safety local peoples opinion alternative transport

If you dont want to travel by bus or rail in Ireland your only option is to rent a car while youre here. But the roads and traffic are so bad that I think you'd be crazy to rent a car. My suggestion is: use the train as much as you can; there is a decent rail network, but it will probably look ridiculous in comparison to what you're used to at home. My advice, as an Irish person, would be to come to Ireland for the sights, the people, the culture and the history, but NOT for the transport system. Check out www.cie.ie, the website that has all the trains, buses and light rail systems with their timetables and fares etc. If you cant find what you are looking for, perhaps hitchhiking is still a better idea than renting a car Have a lovely time, and please try to forgive our bad transport system!

TO DRIVE OR NOT TO DRIVE You are planning a holiday in Ireland. You would like to visit a lot of places while you are there, so you think you should rent a car. Some people think that roads are not in very good condition in Ireland, and that driving on the left makes it even more complicated. However, you have read about tourists who recommend it (see below). Try to persuade the other candidate that renting a car would be a good idea to get to all the places youd like to visit. Remember that you cannot show this paper to the other candidate. These are some points that you can discuss: : safety local peoples opinion alternative transport

Hi Dave, First something about the transport. You wont be able to see everything you want if you don't rent a car. So, definitely, get a car. Here's what I'd suggest. You won't need a car in Dublin, so instead of hiring a car in Dublin, I suggest you take the train from Dublin to Cork on the morning you go to Kinsale and pick up a car there instead. You will avoid the awful traffic getting out of Dublin, be less tired on arrival in the south of Ireland (it's quite a long drive) and can practise driving on the left on less congested roads. Of course, you could try to get there by bus (because there is no train service anymore) but even locals avoid it as it is so slow and usually late, and besides, you would have difficulty getting to the places you want to visit in the area. Before I forget, when you are in Kinsale, don't miss eating at the FISHY FISHY CAFE not the cheapest, but absolutely fantastic seafood and a lovely place. In Ennis NEWPARK HOUSE is a really fantastic place to stay, and FOUNTAIN COURT is also very good.

Give your loved one a gift that's out of this world with his or her own private star. Buy the Stars, a company in Plano, Texas, uses special computer programming to find stars that will be visible in the night sky from where you live. It picks out a star for you and -- voila! -- you can be the owner of your own star. [...] the company is offering a His & Hers Premium Package for $74.95 that includes two stars that are close to each other (well, in a galactic sense), a constellation chart showing their position in the sky, a certificate of ownership and information about the stars.
