OUR REIGNING QUEENS

All contestants will compete in Runway Wear and Evening Gown and will be judged on Beauty, Poise and Onstage Personality. Finalists will compete in Onstage Interview. For Early Entry eligibility, submit a recent photograph and $125 postmarked by january 4th. After January 4th, submit a recent photograph and $135 by February 1st. (family Discount: Deduct $5 for each additional contestant.)

PHOTOGENIC COMPETITION & PRIZES

Two Photogenic Winners will receive a Photo Shoot valued at $150 compliments of Nicole Renee Photography. The Professionals Choice will be judged by a Qualified Photographer. The Peoples Choice will be judged by the Miss Southeast audience. To enter, contestants should submit a 4X6 or larger recently taken photo labeled photogenic and $15. Additional photos may be submitted for $5 each.

WHO WE ARE
While pursuing her degree in Communications at the University of South Carolina-Aiken, Tina Carter was privileged to begin working with a USA pageant production for the states of North Carolina, South Carolina and Louisiana. For years, she participated in all aspects of producing a state pageant and highlights included: co-authoring an article for a national Pageant Magazine, meeting former Miss Universe winner Shawn Weatherly, and attending a nationally televised Teen-USA production. Tinas affiliation with ArtistrtyTM Skin Care & Cosmetics, an Official Sponsor of the Miss AmericaTM Pageant for three years, recently afforded her the opportunity to host Miss Americas Caressa Cameron and Teresa Scanlan at speaking engagements in Kentucky. Tina and her husband Blane have a 8 year old son, Christian, and Alexis turned 5 in November. They enjoy living in Augusta, where they operate a thriving online Health and Beauty business.

Our Judging Philosophy

Having participated in and being affiliated with pageants for many years, we respect the amount of time and energy contestants and their families devote to competing. Therefore, we believe contestants should be judged fairly, by nonbiased judges, who have extensive experience in pageantry or related areas such as cheerleading, modeling, or entertainment. Our commitment to each contestent, her family, and to the Miss Southeast pageant itself is to maintain high standards by placing such priority on selecting reputable, qualified judges.

Unless competing for Ms. Southeast, I am not married, have never been married, and have never had a marriage annulled. I have never given birth to a child and am not now pregnant nor am I a parent. If any of these conditions change, I will notify my Pageant Director immediately and I understand that this may effect my eligibility. I am of good health and moral character. I hereby release, unconditionally and forever, any claim against Miss Southeast, its related companies, agents and assigns, which I may have by virtue of my participation in the Miss Southeast pageant or by any use of my name, likeness, voice, and/or biography in connection with the Miss Southeast pageant, including use in promotional and advertising material. I understand and agree that all issues of eligibility shall be determined by Miss Southeast and I agree to abide by that determination both as to myself and other applicants. I further agree to permit my photograph, voice recording and name to be used without charge for all publicity and commercial purposes and any telecast of Miss Southeast. I agree that I will make no appearances whatsoever unless official authorization is granted by the Miss Southeast pageant or its agents. I understand and agree that doing so could result in the loss of my title and return of any and all prizes awarded. I agree that I will not incur, and am not authorized to incur, any debts on behalf of the Miss Southeast pageant or Tina Carter. I voluntarily disclose that prior to the date of this pageant, I have not engaged in any activities, which if disclosed to the public, would bring, or tend to bring, myself into disrepute, ridicule or contempt. I understand that I am free to withdraw from the competition at any time, but under no circumstances will I be entitled to a refund or transfer to another contestant any fee, either full or part, that I or my sponsors have paid. There will be absolutely no exceptions to this policy. Failure of the winning contestant to comply with any of the terms, provisions, restrictions or obligations hereof, at the option of Tina Carter, shall result in entrant's disqualification, loss of title, and return of any and all prizes awarded.
