Contemporary Research New ICE-HE Ethernet Head-End ICE-HE is a new solution introduced by Contemporary Research for an intelligent television

control and for the distributed media. A single Ethernet Port ICE-HE is enough for networking thousands of ice-Net TV controllers and communicates with CATV cable which is carried by media channel. It will inject control command to your TV and support the 2 way data connection also over the Ethernet and RS-232. This standard protocol operates for RF coax, fiber optic cables and Cat5 wiring. Custom Control System, IC Commander 4 software, ABC-Net Media Retrieval, and IC Toolkit will integrate with all TVs, plasma displays or video projectors. ICE-HE is able to distribute in two ways to the ICC - Net and over the existing CATV RF cable. The ICC-Net is compatible to any CATV if a clear channel RF is employed for transmitting the frequencies and for receiving data without any conflict in the existing channels. Using ICE-HE the control data can be transmitted over the wiring category 5 and category 3. There are three ports of ICW-Net, each cable is connected to thousands of controllers through the wiring up to 3,300 feet. Over the fiber and video conferencing codecs data from ICW-Net can be sent to any remote locations. So you can enjoy the flexibility by sending the commands to a single display or zone or to the entire TV networks.
