Where is America in
Biblical Prophecy?
Preacher, What Is...the Last Generation?
(Matt. 26:64; Mark 14:62; Luke 21:27; Acts
1:11; Heb. 9:28; 2 Peter 3:10)
With the reading of any or all of the several
texts above we must answer these probing
questions! This being the month of July, the
month to calibrate “Independence Day” and the
birth of our country’s grand experiment in
democracy, comes the Question: Where is
America in Biblical Prophecy? Many other Will you be one of those that will sit at His feet in-
questions must precede that ultimate enquiry, but order to know the Truth?!!
let us start...
Every system of religion has its own study of “eschatology”. If there is a beginning, there also must be
an end (compare 2 Cor. 5:17 with Rom. 8:22-23 or Gen. 1:1 with Rev. 21:1-2). Man is constantly interested
in the end, and, in many cases, the thoughts of the future take much of his time and energy. We will study
this vital subject from three directions:
I- The last things of a personal life (Heb. 9:27) (Physical death as it is compared to spiritual death and the
state after death in this world). (Eccl. 8:8)
II- The last things of prophetic record (Rev. 4:1 “...things which must be hereafter.”) (The signs of the
times, O.T. record and N.T. record; interpretation of prophecy in light of the other option of lawless and
empty humanism, the development of history; and lastly; the Bible has said so much on this subject as
we look forward to what the future holds and the fulfillment of Scripture). (2 Peter 2:6)
III- The last things as it relates to the Second Coming of CHRIST and the eternal future. (Heb. 10:37)
(there will be no “time” in the future – only a sure existence in one of the two states -“Heaven” or
“Hell.” See Dan. 12:2)
The BIBLE always gives sufficient information for the faith walk of the believer. The BIBLE is GOD’S
tool to teach finite man to walk by faith in the unexplained infinite. “Eternal Life” is God’s plan for mankind
and seeking and saving the human population for Heaven is the climax, the culmination, the calibration
of God’s Redemptive work.
In the next few pages we are going to look through the door of time into the depth of the yet unseen
future. For the saint there is no end and eternity awaits as a bright day that will never end. For the lost soul,
he sees only the blackness of the blindness that now benights lost man’s present existence in sin. In either
case, the end is the beginning of some unknown eternity. Only the Bible gives reliable reference to this
mystery.

-1-
Man’s interest in these things of the last is legendary and many have tried to satisfy that interest with
both true and false prophesying. However, this can be a bit risky in light of the O.T. text that deals with this
subject (“And that prophet, or that dreamer of dreams, shall be put to death; because he hath spoken
to turn you away from the LORD your God, which brought you out of the land of Egypt, and redeemed
you out of the house of bondage, to thrust thee out of the way which the LORD thy God commanded thee
to walk in. So shalt thou put the evil away from the midst of thee.” Deut. 13:1-11, see vs. 5; 18; 20-22). This
scripture tells us that if a prophet failed to speak in the LORD’S name or his word failed he was to be stoned
without mercy.
In the study of “Eschatology” there can be seen at least two branches of treatment: Personal and
General Eschatology. We will study both in the next few pages. To the Christian, General Eschatology
deals with the Second Coming of CHRIST and the things that lead up to and follow this event. Personal
Eschatology deals with the physical death of the individual and that existence following physical death. It
is well known that these things are in the state of a mystery. These matters, along with many other subjects
are mysteries. Many mysteries are defined in Scripture. There is the Mystery of:
I- Kingdom of Heaven (Matt.13:3-50)
II- Israel’s blindness during this age (Rom. 11:25 with context)
III- The translation of living saints at the end of this age (1 Cor. 15:51; 52; 1 Thes. 4:14-17)
IV- The NT church as one body composed of Jew and Gentile (Eph. 3:1-11; Rom. 16:25; Eph. 6:19; Col.
4:3)
V- The church as the Bride of CHRIST (Eph. 5:28-32)
VI- The in-dwelling, in-living CHRIST (Gal. 2:20; Col. 1:26-27)
VII- GOD even CHRIST - i.e. CHRIST as the incarnate fullness of the Godhead embodied, in whom
all the divine wisdom for man subsisted (Col. 2:2, 9; 1 Cor. 2:7)
VIII- The Mystery of the process by which godlikeness is restored to man (1 Tim. 3:16)
IX- Iniquity (2 Thes. 2:7; Matt. 13:33)
X- The seven stars (Rev. 1:20)
XI- Babylon (Rev. 17:5, 7)
The Practical Mysteries
Then we have the “Practical Mysteries” of simple observation. With the eyes of wonder we look in
amazement and observe the display of God’s mysteries:
I- The Prosperity of the wicked. (Jer. 12:1)
II- The Providence of GOD. (Rom. 11:33)
III- The New Birth. (John 3:8)
IV- The union of Christ and His Church. (Eph. 5:32)
V- The Incarnation of CHRIST. (1 Tim. 3:16)
VI- The Suffering of the human race. (Heb. 12:1)
VII- The Future life. (1 Cor. 15:51) – The “Future Life” is marked with “signs” of the times. What will
mark the “Last Generation” before Christ comes again? This study has been investigated by most
Bible students since the first century AD. It seems to be a subject that intrigues all of the race.
(“...Where is the promise of his coming? for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they
were from the beginning of the creation.”) This accusation is often made – but is it true?
The Prophecies of the Last Generation
Below is a list of 22 Signs of the Last Generation with their fulfillment. Things DO NOT “continue as
they were from the beginning” and time is coming to a close. Follow the texts through the Bible and see for
yourself.
1- The Bible says: The final generation will be the one that witnesses the blossoming of the “fig tree.”
(“I found Israel like grapes in the wilderness; I saw your fathers as the firstripe in the fig tree at

-2-
her first time: but they went to Baalpeor, and separated themselves unto that shame; and their
abominations were according as they loved.” Hosea 9:10).
The Fulfillment: Israel returned as a nation in 1948 fulfilling God’s promise to Abraham. Israel is
always referred to as the “fig tree” and Christ taught that Israel’s forefathers were the first fruits
in his fig tree.
2- The Bible says: there will be wars and rumors of wars. (“And when ye shall hear of wars and
rumours of wars, be ye not troubled: for such things must needs be; but the end shall not be yet.”
Mark 13:7).
The Fulfillment: The last 100 years have seen more wars than any time since creation.
3- The Bible Says: an army called “the Kings of the East” will march into the Middle East at the battle
of Armageddon and have the Euphrates river dry-up before them. (“And the sixth angel poured out
his vial upon the great river Euphrates; and the water thereof was dried up, that the way of the
kings of the east might be prepared.” Rev. 16:12).
The Fulfillment: Dams built in the 1970's have given Turkey the ability to dry-up the Euphrates. In
1990 they stopped the river for a month to fill a reservoir. Now you can see why Turkey must
be part of the Islamic camp...to make way for the three different attack routes the Russians and
Arabs will utilize in their Magog attack on Israel.
4- The Bible says: there will be Earthquakes in diverse places. (“For nation shall rise against nation, and
kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers
places.” Matt. 24:7)
The Fulfillment: Earthquakes have increased in frequency and intensity some 2,000% since Israel
returned to the land in 1948.
5- The Bible says: an end-time global government will arise and break the world into ten regions
described as the “Revived Roman Empire.” (“And I stood upon the sand of the sea, and saw a beast
rise up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and upon his horns ten crowns, and
upon his heads the name of blasphemy. 2 And the beast which I saw was like unto a leopard, and
his feet were as the feet of a bear, and his mouth as the mouth of a lion: and the dragon gave him
his power, and his seat, and great authority.” Rev. 13:1-2 & 17:12-13)
The Fulfillment: The same year Israel returned to the land a group known as the “Club of Rome”
signed what was called the “Treaty of Rome” creating the European Union that plans to divide
the world into ten regions. The Pope has called the E-U the “Revived Roman Empire.” Signers
of the treaty were quoted as saying: “We felt like real Romans that day....purposely recreating
the Roman Empire.” NOTE: The Bible says that the Anti-christ will come from the same people
who destroyed Jerusalem...the Romans. (Hence, the Revived Roman Empire.)
6- The Bible says: Jerusalem will be trodden-down by the Gentiles until the time of the Gentiles has
come to an end. This is to happen just prior to the return of Christ. (“And they shall fall by the edge
of the sword, and shall be led away captive into all nations: and Jerusalem shall be trodden down
of the Gentiles, until the times of the Gentiles be fulfilled.” Luke 21:24)
The Fulfillment: The Israelis recaptured Jerusalem in the 1967 war. Since that time, it has been a
continued fight to maintain the Jewish hold on that divided city.
7- The Bible says: the generation alive at the time Israel returns to the land will not all pass away before
all things, including the return of Christ with his saints, are accomplished. (“And he spake to them
a parable; Behold the fig tree, and all the trees; 30 When they now shoot forth, ye see and know of
your own selves that summer is now nigh at hand. 31 So likewise ye, when ye see these things come
to pass, know ye that the kingdom of God is nigh at hand. 32 Verily I say unto you, This generation
shall not pass away, till all be fulfilled.” Luke 21:29-32)
The Fulfillment: Pending. Depending upon the scripture reference a Biblical generation may be
anywhere from 40-70 years. We are more than 50 years into that time frame.

-3-
8- The Bible says: During the Great Tribulation, God will have to shorten the daylight hours because
the sun will be scorching man. (“And the fourth angel poured out his vial upon the sun; and power
was given unto him to scorch men with fire. 9 And men were scorched with great heat, and
blasphemed the name of God, which hath power over these plagues: and they repented not to give
him glory.” Rev. 16:8-9)
The Fulfillment: Global ozone depletion is being blamed for the blinding of kangaroos in Australia
as well as penguins and polar bears at the South Pole where animals are also developing
cancerous tumors. Children in South America are being told to wear sun glasses while most of
the krill off the tip of South America are gone. This is the bottom of the food chain. Paint is
oxidizing faster than normal in Australia where sperm counts in men have dropped precipitously.
Frogs are mutating and dying in North America where skin cancers and cataracts are up 50-75%.
The U.N., reports that some areas of the Earth have lost nearly all ozone. The ozone hole is now
3-times the size of Europe and nearly continuous volcanic eruptions are exacerbating the
situation. Scientists are experimenting with ways to grow more algae in the oceans because of
the death of large areas of plankton and algae. They are responsible for 1/4th of our oxygen
supply.
9- The Bible says: storms will become increasingly worse. (“And there shall be signs in the sun, and
in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the
waves roaring; 26 Men’s hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are
coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken.” Luke 21:25-26)
The Fulfillment: There have been record numbers of tropical storms, hurricanes and tornadoes
beginning in the 1990's. (Sustained winds routinely top 200MPH now.)
10- The Bible says: famines and pestilence will be common-place. (“And great earthquakes shall be in
divers places, and famines, and pestilences; and fearful sights and great signs shall there be from
heaven.” Luke 21:11 & Rev. 6:8)
The Fulfillment: There have been more deaths from famine since 1950 than any other time in
history. Old diseases are gaining the upper-hand and new diseases are appearing regularly that
have no cure.
11- The Bible says: The Anti-christ will bring a 7-year peace and protection pact for Israel but that
when they say “Peace and safety” that sudden destruction will come upon them. (“For when they
shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman
with child; and they shall not escape.” 1 Thes. 5:3)
The Fulfillment: Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, whose name means “Gift from God,”
has stalled the peace process with the Palestinians by demanding “Peace with safety and peace
with security” prompting the Palestinians to turn to Europe, (the Revived Roman Empire), to join
in the peace process.
12- The Bible says: The end-time apostate church will be clothed in scarlet and situated on seven hills.
(“So he carried me away in the spirit into the wilderness: and I saw a woman sit upon a scarlet
coloured beast, full of names of blasphemy, having seven heads and ten horns. 4 And the woman
was arrayed in purple and scarlet colour, and decked with gold and precious stones and pearls,
having a golden cup in her hand full of abominations and filthiness of her fornication: 5 And upon
her forehead was a name written, MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF
HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH. 6 And I saw the woman drunken with the
blood of the saints, and with the blood of the martyrs of Jesus: and when I saw her, I wondered with
great admiration.” Rev. 17:3-6 and 9)
The Fulfillment: The Roman Catholic church uses scarlet, sits on the seven hills of Rome, has the
nickname-“Babylon.” Pope John Paul, before his death, said the church had fallen into
irreversible apostasy, most of it’s leaders don’t acknowledge Christ as Messiah. He also

-4-
expressed fears that his successor may be the false prophet. The “Revived Roman Empire” will
be a seven-headed beast that is scarlet in color with ten horns. The apostate church will be
symbolized as a woman riding the beast. The E-U will use the same type of image on it’s single
currency known as the “Euro.” The image they minted on the first E-U coin was of Charles V.
(The first emperor of the Roman Empire).
13- The Bible says: Knowledge shall be increased and man will run to and fro about the face of the
Earth. (“But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the end: many
shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased.” Dan. 12:4)
The Fulfillment: Man’s knowledge took 1,450 years to double the first time. It now doubles every
two years and science is forecasting that in the 21st Century it will double every few months.
14- The Bible says: If Christ does not return soon, no flesh will be saved.(“And except those days
should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect’s sake those days shall be
shortened.” Matt. 24:22)
The Fulfillment: Nuclear weaponry makes this the first generation capable of annihilating all life
on Earth. (In the world of “foreign policy” this is called “mutually assured destruction”).
15- The Bible says: The Antichrist will allow the Jews to rebuild the temple and renew the sacrifices.
(“Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling
away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; 4 Who opposeth and exalteth
himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple
of God, shewing himself that he is God.” 2 Thes. 2:3-4).
The Fulfillment: Gershon Solomon and the Temple Mount Faithful have found the red heifer ashes
necessary to purify the new temple, may have located the Ark of the Covenant, have
computerized all Levitical priests’ names for temple service, attempted to lay the cornerstone on
the Temple Mount and have recreated nearly all implements necessary for temple worship. In
fact, a snail used for the blue line on the bottom of the priest’s garment returned to Israel for the
first time in 2,000 years when they began to work on the garment. Also, the first red heifer in two
thousand years has been born in the Holyland.
16- The Bible says: Jerusalem will become a burdensome stone and a cup of trembling to the world just
prior to Christ’s return. (“Behold, I will make Jerusalem a cup of trembling unto all the people
round about, when they shall be in the siege both against Judah and against Jerusalem.” Zec. 12:2)
The Fulfillment: What is holding-up the peace process in Israel is the insistence that the Jews will
never give-up or even share Jerusalem. Look for war!
17- The Bible says: Russia will lead an Arab confederacy in an attack on Israel. (“Therefore, son of
man, prophesy and say unto Gog, Thus saith the Lord GOD; In that day when my people of Israel
dwelleth safely, shalt thou not know it? 15 And thou shalt come from thy place out of the north
parts, thou, and many people with thee, all of them riding upon horses, a great company, and a
mighty army: 16 And thou shalt come up against my people of Israel, as a cloud to cover the land;
it shall be in the latter days, and I will bring thee against my land, that the heathen may know me,
when I shall be sanctified in thee, O Gog, before their eyes.” Ezek. 38:14-16)
The Fulfillment: Presently, every nation mentioned in the Bible as being part of the attack is aligned
with Russia and is being armed by them or China.
18- The Bible says: In the last generation men will be proud and boastful, lovers of themselves and
pleasure rather than lovers of God and that children will be disobedient. (“This know also, that in
the last days perilous times shall come. 2 For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous,
boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, 3 Without natural
affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, 4
Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; 5 Having a form of
godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.” 2 Tim. 3:1-5)

-5-
The Fulfillment: Look at modern America! But if the U.S. stays on it’s current path of expelling
God from public places, then there is the possibility that divine judgment will bring America’s
very existence into question. George Washington summed up the clear intent of America’s
founding fathers when he said “…it is the duty of all nations to acknowledge the providence of
Almighty God… to be devoted by the people of these United States to the service of that great
and glorious Being …” But look at the godless trend in the U.S. in regard to just one area – the
education of her children. There are many other areas but this single factor will serve to illustrate
this matter:
– 1840 - Horace Mann, the humanist-Unitarian, took philosophical control of the U.S.
educational system.
– 1930 - John Dewey, the secular humanist, instituted the modern U.S. educational
framework.
– 1962 - Prayers were outlawed in U.S. schools.
– 1963 - The Bible was outlawed in U.S. schools.
– 1987 - The Creator was outlawed in U.S. school science classes.
– 1991 - The name of “God” was outlawed at graduation ceremonies in U.S. schools.
– 2002 - The Pledge of Allegiance, with the term “under God” has now been outlawed in
U.S. schools.
America is at the verge of oblivion because of this darkness and decay. Deep repentance
would be the only cure. (2 Chron. 7:14). One doomed nation repented and God heard (“So the
people of Nineveh believed God, and proclaimed a fast, and put on sackcloth, from the greatest
of them even to the least of them...And God saw their works, that they turned from their evil
way; and God repented of the evil, that he had said that he would do unto them; and he did it
not.” Jonah 3:5-10).
19- The Bible says: The end-time population will not repent of their sorceries, from the Greek word
“pharmakea” from which we get the word “pharmacy”. So, they will not repent of their drug abuse.
(“Neither repented they of their murders, nor of their sorceries, nor of their fornication, nor of
their thefts.” Rev. 9:21)
The Fulfillment: Drug usage is on the rampage worldwide and up 141% among American teens.
The fact that substance abuse is the major factor in crime goes un-noticed by many and this fact
will be a factor in this last generation.
20- The Bible says: In the “last days” people will not want to hear sound doctrine. (“For the time will
come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to
themselves teachers, having itching ears;” 2 Tim. 4:3)
The Fulfillment: Turn on most TV preachers today! (They are “saying more and more about less
and not much of that...?).
21- The Bible says: There will be signs on the sun, the moon and in the stars. (“And there shall be
signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with
perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring;” Luke 21:25)
The Fulfillment: Look at the accomplishments of the space age. Those who point this fact out are
often seen as “un-informed” or “goofy” and to be disregarded in our understanding.
22- The Bible says: A strong delusion will accompany the end-times. (“And for this cause God shall
send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:” 2 Thes. 2:11)
The Fulfillment: The New Age belief that man is God. The same lie Satan told in the Garden of
Eden. (The “Yea hath God said” society is still in session).
The Meat of the Matter!!
All of this having been said; what should we do to be prepared? I tell you as Paul told the Jailer:

-6-
“...Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house.” (Acts 16:31). This “end of
grade test” will serve to sum up the matter. There are a number of vital questions yet to be answered.
I- What will be the end of these things? – The end of these things are fixed in the decree of our
Sovereign God. We are in no way, in a position to control the outcome of these matters.
Interpretations of prophecy is subject to the rules of hermeneutics. We must refrain from our practice
of personal opinion (“ah la” Jack Van Impe) and focus on what the Father has in store for the end
of time.
II- Where will America be in the scheme of these things? – There is a distressing answer to this
question that must be rendered here. With the prophetic record in store for Israel we must see that
something is missing from many interpretations of prophecy, if the “nation of the North” (Russia)
is to invade the Holy Land. That the primary reference is to the northern (European) powers, headed
up by Russia, all agree. The whole passage should be read in connection with Zec. 12:1-4; 14:1-9;
Matt. 24:14-30; Rev. 14:14-20; 19:17-21, “Gog” is the prince, “Magog,” is his land. The reference
to Meshech and Tubal (Moscow and Tobolsk) is a clear mark of identification. Russia and the
northern powers have been the latest persecutors of dispersed Israel, and it is consistant both with
divine justice and with the covenants (Gen. 15:18; Deut. 30:3) that destruction should fall at the
climax of the last mad attempt to exterminate the remnant of Israel in Jerusalem. The whole
prophecy belongs to the yet future “day of Jehovah” (Isa. 2:10-22; Rev. 19:11-21) and to the battle
of Armageddon (Rev. 16:14; 19:19) but includes also the final revolt of the nations at the close of
the kingdom-age. (Rev. 20:7-9).
If this happens at this hour, (and we are on the verge of these events) there would be one country
that would stand in the path of this process. Prophecy would be quelled and interrupted by the
intervention of this country. The only country that fits this essay is the U.S.A. Does Bible Prophecy
say anything about the United States? The short answer is, “Not directly.”
Trying to find America in scripture references to “eagles wings” (As do those who abuse the text
in Isa. 18:1 – LDS) or “young lions” (Much like those who extrapolate the symbol of the Lion and
the Bear in Dan. 7:4-5 – SDA) or “isles of the sea” (As do those who teach British/American
Israelism from this reference in Isa. 24:15 – Armstrongism). All of this requires a pretty extreme
stretch of “exegesis.” (Some of this comes up to the point of “eisegesis” = False Hermeneutics).
But by way of inference the Bible has much to say about America’s future! If America continues
to exist, the following can be said with certainty about America in prophecy because the Bible
applies these truths to all nations. #1) America’s Christians will all vanish in the Rapture. (1 Thes.
4:17). #2) America will be engulfed by lawlessness. (Matt. 24:12). #3) Americans will turn to the
Lord in great numbers. (Rev. 7:9-14). #4) America will be ruled by the Antichrist. (Rev. 13:7). #5)
Americans will experience the Great Tribulation. (Matt. 24:21-22). #6) American forces will be
part of the Antichrist’s invasion against Israel and God. (Zec. 14:2). #7) America will lose all its
Jews. (Ezek. 36:24). #8) America will be ruled by Christ, King of Kings, and Lord of Lords, in His
Kingdom. (Zec. 14:9). #9) America will again call on the Name of the Lord during the Millennial
Kingdom. (Isa. 2:2-3). Yes!! In this since, America is in Biblical Prophecy. But, it is true that
America’s place in the end times remains obscure at best. So, therefore, we can be certain on some
aspects of America’s destiny if America Survives.
Let no one deceive us about the foundation of our country – the three branches of our
government were framed around Isaiah 33:22: “For the Lord is our Judge [SupremeCourt], the Lord
is our Lawgiver [Congress], the Lord is our King [President].” Yet if America is to survive as the
land noted for its Christian principals and its Bible-believing churches that send forth missionaries
throughout the world, then these churches must begin now to commit to weekly prayer for America.
Why? Because it is not too late, for the Lord says: “If that nation, against whom I have pronounced,
turn from their evil, I will repent of the evil that I thought to do unto them.” (Jer. 18:8).

-7-
America has treaties and diplomatic commitments with Israel that cover the aggression of harsh
enemies of Israel and would enforce those treaties if this happened today. (President Harry Truman
recognized Israel on May 15, 1948, within minutes after Israel declared its independence. Past
American presidents, encouraged by active support from civic groups, labor unions, political
parties, and members of the American and world Jewish communities, supported the concept,
articulated in Britain's 1917 Balfour Declaration, of a Jewish homeland.). America will either have
to change (A recent, winning Presidential candidate just began an administration based upon
“change”), become under the power of another force or disappear from the registry of nations
entirely. Either advent is on America’s immediate future agenda.
Many people are of the opinion that the U.S.A. should be somewhere mentioned in Scripture.
There is much comment, debate and puzzlement as to why such a powerful nation on earth is not
mentioned at all! Some argue that as other powerful empires are mentioned by name, and by
implication, such as Babylon, the Greek Empire, Medes and Persians, Roman etc., that the lack of
the U.S.A. being represented in Scripture could be construed as meaning that the Bible is not a valid
document after all. What is missed by almost all students and commentators is the basic fact that
America and many other Empires are not mentioned because they are not in “the prophetic area,”
when Israel is “Ammi,” (Strong’s #H5971 = my people, Hosea 1:9-10)
All of Scripture relates to Almighty God’s plan for the Redemption of mankind, and particularly
His plan for the saving of Israel and the “Church of His Body.” However, Israel is central to God’s
plan, and it is only because “Christendom” has corruptly inserted the church into almost all
references in Scripture where Israel is mentioned, that great confusion reigns in the minds of many
Christians. When the Bible is read prayerfully, that the Truth regarding prophecy unveils. In the
events yet to unfold, and after the “Body” has been “Raptured,” the, yet dire, events in store for Israel
and “the nations” will be enacted.
The USA will be subject to the promise of God in the context of its help for Israel (Gen. 12:3.)
Contrary to the oft stated condemnation of the USA, the writer is of the firm opinion that she will
be blessed by God for her support of His chosen people, together with Australia and others that have
behaved in similar manner. Over the lifetime of the nation of Israel, and particularly since the second
world war and during the coming dire events! Any nation or peoples that persecute Israel, will bev
in the same category and have to face the judgement of Almighty God, when Christ judges the
nations!
Our Lord spoke of this in the context of the “sheep and goat judgment,” (Matt. 35:31- 46.). The
Lord is speaking here after He has returned to earth in great power, and has vanquished the enemies
of Israel, for Almighty God. This is a much mis-used and mis-taught prophecy. In verse 40, the Lord
gives the definition of the judgment; those that helped “my brethren!” As most churches teach that
the “brethren” are “the church” or “Christendom,” the same error as much of current teaching of
prophecy applies here! (This is sometimes called “Replacement Theology”). Christians are taught
that they are the ones referred to, instead of the truth, which is that the reference is to Israel!
A careful study of Scripture shows that prophecy is related to Israel, and the prophetic area. Also,
it is only active when Israel is identified as “Ammi,” or leading up to the “Ammi” state.
III- The most important question in the close of the age is where will YOU spend Eternity? – There
are other inquires but this champions them all. (“Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved,
what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness,” 2 Peter 3:11).
In the face of the final hour and the last day, there are several things to consider:
A) Do You Believe that, without Christ, You Are a Lost Sinner? See Rom. 3:9-“We have before
proved both Jews and Gentiles, that they are all under sin.” Also see Rom.3:23– “All have
sinned, and come short of the glory of God.” (Eccles.7:20) So we note here that all the
testimonies regarding the state of the natural man, is that he is a sinner and therefore lost.

B) Do You Believe That Your Sins call for a Death Penalty. See Rom. 6:23- “For the wages of sin
is death.” Also see James l:l5- “And sin, when it is finished, bringeth forth death.” (Rom. 7:5)
God’s verdict has always been, to the soul that sinneth it shall die. Ezek. 18:4.
C) Do You Believe That Christ Died in Your Place. He paid the Sin-Debt for you. See 1 Peter 3:18–
“For Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that He might bring us to
God.” (1 Cor. 15:3) You will have to pay your sin-debt unless you look to Christ as your
Saviour. He died on the Cross, and bore your sins in His own body, so you wouldn’t have to
die.
D) Do You Believe That in Jesus Christ There Is Complete Provision for Your Salvation. See 1
John 5:ll-l2– “And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in His
Son. He that hath the Son hath life, and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life.” (Rom. 3:2)
The record of God is, that as many as believe in Christ have everlasting life, and the
righteousness of God is theirs. God has made complete provision for your Salvation, and it
is freely provided in His Son.
E) Do You Believe That this Salvation Is Yours, the Very Moment You Believe on HIM. See John
l:12– “But as many as received Him, to them gave He the power to become the sons of God,
even to them that believe on His name.” Also see Acts 16:31– “Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ,
and thou shalt be saved.” Salvation is by faith in Jesus Christ. He is the only means and way
of salvation. We become sons of God by faith in Jesus Christ. What more we ask of God?
F) Now Last, How Can You Know That You Are Saved? God says that you are saved if you believe
these things: See 1 John 5:13– “These things have I written unto you that believe on the name
of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the
name of the Son of God.” (John 3:36; John 5:24) Also see John 6 :37– “All that the father giveth
me shall come to me; and him that cometh to me, I will in no wise cast out.” Your salvation, my
friend, does not rest upon any promise of man, but upon the divine veracity of God himself.
These are not fables, or theories, but it is your promise through the word of God. You can
depend upon it. (“For by grace are you saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the
gift of God: Not of works. lest any man should boast.” Eph. 2:8-9)
The Conclusion
– Some Last Words about Last Things –
There could be many more questions asked by the reader. There would be no way to anticipate beyond
these general questions in this list. The most asked enquiries are listed here. And, the paragraph that closes
this message, you might have heard before in some form or another from this author but it remains the bright
truth still!
The great truth that Christ is coming back for the believer is one of the most pronounced predictions in
the Bible. The Patriarchs spoke to Forecast it (“...Mine eyes shall behold, And Not ANOTHER...” Job
19:25-27), The Prophets wrote to Foretell it (“And many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall
awake...” Dan.12:2), The Potentates attempt to Forestall it (“And the kings of the earth,...hid themselves
in the dens and in the rocks of the mountains; And said to the mountains and rocks, Fall on us, and hide us
from the face of him that sitteth on the throne...” Rev.6:15-17), and yet it looms as a beacon to the child of
God (“Well done thou good and faithful servant...”), a beckoning call to the seeking sinner (“Come home,
ye who are weary...”) and a banishing curse to the lost Christ rejecter (“Depart from me, I never knew
you...”). It is the comfort needed, the call issued and the cherished hope of all who claim CHRIST. No truth
can exceed it except the truth that “HE receiveth sinful men...” (Luke 15:2) and HE received me and I look
for HIM in the beams of every Sunrise. Therefore, our hope is in Him and we look for Him until eternal life.

How do we expect to be any different...
“O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, thou that killest the prophets, and stonest them which are sent unto thee,
how often would I have gathered thy children together, even as a hen gathereth her chickens under
her wings, and ye would not!” (Matt. 23:37)
