Rationale

My undergraduate years at the National Institute of Technology, Warangal have been a stimulating journey that has shown me the way forward in my life. These undergraduate years have introduced to me the joy of learning and the satisfaction of research and innovation. The primary reason that I want to pursue a career in research is for its sheer joy the joy of exploration through involvement and experience.

I am a highly motivated & work-oriented student & have always been inquisitive in my approach as to how and why things happen. I believe that a person is what he does, and in line with this philosophy I am always on the lookout for challenging and creative work. I have gathered good communication skills and am able to present my ideas in a fluent and confident manner. Friends and acquaintances all testify to the fact that I relate to people easily and that I am able to adapt quickly to new surroundings and situations.

It is my desire to undertake research on projects with industrial and practical applications. Immunology especially interests me a lot, wherein presently Im working on a paper on Application of silver nanoparticles in cancer treatment. I am also interested in instrumentation aspects in Biotechnology field wherein people can directly get the fruits of research. Use of Technology in security and development of instruments to reduce human effort and rectify human errors is a field which fascinates me very much. I am also presently working on Development of a design for Self-dust repellant space suit and Development of Microbial Fuel Cells design under some of the esteemed professors guidance. I am flexible and open minded and as research is my primary objective i would do my best to assist my project guide in whatever way I can.

Apart from gaining some valuable research experience, I would also enhance my knowledge in my areas of interest and get a lot of exposure at a world class institute by working on a good project. In future I could be interested in applying to Canadian Universities for doing my Masters. Therefore it would also be extremely helpful for me to gain research experience at a place where I would love to see myself a couple of years down the line. As I want to follow my higher studies and further research in similar areas of interest, this is the best platform from where I can launch the next phase of my academic career. I think the skills that I would learn from this wonderful experience would take me a long way and motivate me further to be a successful researcher. I look forward for joining this institute and being a part of the esteemed research community.
