--------------------------------------------------------------------1.3 CO-OP SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS

--------------------------------------------------------------------A. Internet play requires broadband connection, latest
drivers, and an Online Steam Account.
B. LAN play requires network interface card, latest drivers
and an Online Steam Account.
--------------------------------------------------------------------1.4 Steam CLIENT INSTALLATION AND ACCOUNT CREATION
--------------------------------------------------------------------The Saints Row IV installer will check your computer
for an existing installation of the Steam Client. If it
detects that no Steam Client is installed, it will
automatically begin an installation of the Client. If it
detects an older version of the Steam Client the installer
will update that version to the most current.
Following the Steam Client installation and/or update, the
installer will prompt you for your Steam Account login
information. If you do not already have a Steam Account,
you will need to create an account at this time.
--------------------------------------------------------------------1.5 DIRECTX DETECTION & INSTALLATION
--------------------------------------------------------------------Saints Row IV requires DirectX to play.
The Saints Row IV installer will check your computer
for the currently installed version of DirectX. If it
detects an older version of DirectX, it will install
DirectX 11 automatically. The installation of
DirectX will not harm your DirectX configuration.

2) TROUBLESHOOTING

A. Latest video drivers required. Steam provides a link for

updating video drivers in their menus if needed.
B. Some ATI cards may experience crashing if cards are set to
allow overclocking by enabling overdrive. DirectX 11 users
may see an error mentioning the device has been removed.
C. Advanced video settings can be modified by changing the
"display.ini" file in the Saints Row IV game directory.
This file will get filled and and will change any time display
options are changed.

--------------------------------------------------------------------A. Latest sound drivers required.
--------------------------------------------------------------------2.3 OPERATING SYSTEM
--------------------------------------------------------------------A. Windows Aero may cause general slowdown or graphical
issues, disabling Windows Aero if in use can increase
performance.
B. The latest OS service pack is required for optimal play.
C. Turning off virtual memory may result in performance issues
as well as crashes.
--------------------------------------------------------------------2.4 CO-OP AND INTERNET
--------------------------------------------------------------------A. A latency meter can be found in the HUB during CO-OP
play to help gauge the connection between players.
--------------------------------------------------------------------2.5 KNOWN ISSUES
--------------------------------------------------------------------A. Certain Windows operations may sometimes cause the
fullscreen game to minimize. Maximizing will return the game
to fullscreen mode.
B. Norman Security Suite may need to be disabled or adjusted
to play Saints Row IV

--------------------------------------------------------------------The default keyboard/mouse controls can be remapped at any
time in the SET KEYS & BUTTONS menu under controls.
--------------------------------------------------------------------3.8 XBOX 360 CONTROLLER
--------------------------------------------------------------------The Xbox 360 Controller is supported and usable with the PC
version. In order to use the controller, plug it in at any
time. If when you switch to the controller menu screens
do not display Xbox 360 Controller button icons, backing
out of the menu and returning to it again should make the
transition complete.

Ensure you have the latest sound and video drivers installed.
Disable anti-virus scanners.
Shut down software running in the background.
Play on lower resolutions and setting the Display Options present to LOW
