How to prevent pimples ... For boys and girls.

Oily skin can be annoying and lead to dark spots, pimples and acne. Stress, travel, poor diet, high humidity can all lead to oily skin. *Wash your face morning and night with a gentle skin cleanser designed for oily/acne-prone skin. Neutrogena is a good choice and those containing tea tree oil or neem are also effective. *Use an oil-free moisturiser or cream for oily skin. Oily skin still needs some moisture and if you dry it out too much, the glands will produce excess oil to make up for the dryness, so youll end up even oilier! Aloe vera gel is gentle and effective. Nivea is good, it is very light and has Factor 30 to protect from the sun too! *A gentle facial scrub used twice a week will get rid of any dead skin cells on the surface, and allow the younger healthy skin to come through. Always use a face pack to close open pores after a scrub. *A facemask containing clay will mop up any excess oils and if you use this once a week, it should help prevent any spots too. *Drink 2 litres of water daily to keep your skin healthy and well hydrated. *Eat lots of fruit and vegetables. *Fish oils and Vitamin A supplements will also help to keep your skin looking good! However, dont take Vitamin A if youre a woman trying to get pregnant or if you are already pregnant, as too much Vitamin A can harm the baby. You must always be careful when taking any supplements or medications and check for side effects! *If you do get pimples, dabbing tea tree oil or lavender oil on the spot directly will help kill the bacteria and help the skin to heal. If you skin is too sensitive for this, try diluting the tea tree oil in a little of your gentle moisturiser or aloe vera gel. *Benzoyl peroxide gel or an acne gel with a tiny bit of salicylic acid can be dabbed directly on the spots or you may need an antibiotic cream from your doctor if the acne is more severe. *Hormones can also trigger acne, so girls may benefit from going onto certain oral contraceptive pills, as these can sometimes help, but again, ask your own doctor. *Vitamin A creams, such as tretinoin cream can clear spots and help younger skin come through, but they can also make your skin flake off and you need to ask your doctor. If you do use these, NEVER use them near the eyes, lips or nose, and you must use a Factor 30 sun cream every day.

Today I m dedicating to all the men and women who are facing huge hair loss problems .... Some of the possible reasons for falling hair are: *Tension *Too much work pressure, *Illness and medication **Poor diet *dandruff *Over-exposure to the sun *chemical treatments *Amateur bleaching *Too frequent and inexpert use of tints, rinses or other colourants Here is what you can do to prevent hair fall Shampoo regularly. Remember, a CLEAN scalp is a HEALTHY SCALP. Brahmi amla oil also promotes hair growth. A high protein diet with plenty of fruits, green vegetables and dairy products is a must. Drink 10-12 glass of water everyday. Use a very mild shampoo and condition your hair at least twice a week. When you do, do not rub on scalp and make sure you rinse out the conditioner thoroughly, otherwise residue build-up will cause your hair to look limp and dull. Know your vitamins! IRON is important for healthy hair and brittle, limp hair indicates iron deficiency. Spinach has a good iron content. ZINC helps prevent hair loss and greying. Eat adequate zinc rich foods. Overweight people tend to have zinc deficiency, which is inversely related to the body mass index. Thus if you are overweight and if your hair falls too much, you may want to increase your intake of zinc containing foods. Recipes containing stone ground wholegrain flour are rich in zinc. A shortfall in VITAMIN B may cause dandruff, falling hair, loss of colour and could encourage grey hair. So B group Vitamins are essential for gloss, colour and thickness. VITAMIN C ensures the health of capillaries supplying blood to hair follicles. Make sure your diet includes plenty of fresh fruits and veggies. VITAMIN E encourages hair growth. Switch from refined flours to wholemeal and wheatgerm, eggs, vegetable oil.

COPPER stops hair from falling. Studies show that the copper content in the blood serum of people with falling hair is less than normal. Different types of alopecia (falling hair) are seen to have a deficiency of this important trace element. Include small quantities of nuts, especially cashews and peanuts, seeds, whole milk and beans in your diet as these contain minute but important amounts of copper.
