sebagaimana kita ketahui pada bagian pertama tentang tenses yaitu pembahasan present perfect tense kita menggunakan bentuk kata kerja ketiga(Verb.3) tetapi pada simple past tense kita menggunakan bentuk II (Verb.2). disana juga dijelaskan cara membentuk kata kerja II baik yang beraturan (regular verb) maupun yang tidak beraturan (irregular verb). contoh kalimat : 1. they played football yesterday 2. shinta sang a song just now 3. mrs. nani tought english five years ago

berikut ini contoh yang tidak menggunakan kata kerja, yaitu menggunakan was dan were. untuk mengetahui subjek apa saja yang memakai were perhatikan contoh berikut ini:
