For removing and replacing bolt / nut or removing parts. It is usual to use a socket wrench set for automotive repairs. If a socket wrench set cannot be used due to work space restrictions, select a boxend wrench or an openend wrench in that order.

Choose tools according to the speed with which the job can be done.
A socket wrench is useful in that it can be used to turn bolt / nut without the need for repositioning. This allows for quick turning of bolt / nut. A socket wrench can be used in various ways depending on the type of handle that is fitted.
If a large torque is required for final tightening or initial loosening of a bolt / nut, use a wrench that allows a lot of strength to be applied.
There are two sizes available - large and small. The larger part can achieve greater torque than the smaller one.
2. Depth of socket
There are two types - standard, and deep, which is 2 or 3 times deeper than standard. The deep type can be applied to the nut that the bolt projects, which do not fit into the standard type socket.
3. Jaws
There are two typesdouble hexagonal and hexagonal. The hexagonal part gains a large contact surface with bolt / nut, making it extremely difficult to damage the surface
The socket jaw has hinged movement, which allows the angle of the handle to be adjusted to fit the socket wrench. The handle slides, allowing the length of the grip to be changed.
Do not apply over- large torque. This may damage the construction of the ratchet. Loosening Tightening
damage to the corners of the bolt, and a large torque can be applied. 3. Since the shaft is angled, it can be used to turn bolt / nut in a recessed space or on a flat surface
ADJUSTABLE WRENCH
Application Used with bolt / nut of irregular sizes.
Turning the adjusting screw changes the bore. One adjustable wrench can therefore be used in place of multiple openend wrenches (spanners). Not suitable for applying a large torque.
Instructions Turn the adjusting screw to fit the bore to the head of the bolt / nut being used.
Two sizes, large and small, to fit the size of spark plugs. The inside of the wrench contains a magnet, which keeps the spark plug.
SCREW DRIVER
Application Used for removing and replacing screws.
Instructions 1. Use the proper size of the screwdriver, which fits the grooves in the screw. 2. Keep the screwdriver aligned straight with the shank of the screw, and turn while applying pressure.
NEEDLE-NOSE PLIERS
Application Used to operate in tight spaces or to grip small parts.
The pincers are long and thin, making it suitable for work in tight spaces. Includes a blade towards the neck, which can cut fine wire, or remove insulation from electrical wires.
NOTICE:
pressure to the pincer tips. They may be bent open, rendering them useless for detailed work. Transformation Before transformation
SLIP-JOINT PLIERS
Application Used to grip things.
Changing the position of the hole at the fulcrum allows the extent to which the jaws open to be adjusted. The jaws can be used to nip or grip and pull. Fine wire can be cut at the neck.
Since the tip of the blades are rounded, it can be used for cutting fine wires, or selecting only the required wire for cutting out of a harness
HAMMER
Application Used to remove and replace parts by hitting them, and to test the tightness of a bolt by sound. The following types are available for use depending on the application or the material: Ball pin hammer Has an iron head. Plastic hammer Has a plastic head, and is used where damage must be avoided to the item being struck. Test hammer
BRASS BAR
Application A support tool that prevents hammer damage
Made of brass, so does not damage parts ( as it will deform before the part does)
GASKET SCRAPER
Application Used for removing cylinder head gaskets, liquid sealant, stickers and others from flat surfaces. Instructions 1. Scraping results depend on direction of blade: (1) Scraped better because the blade tip cuts into the gasket. However, the surface is scraped easily. (2) The blade tip does not get such a good bite into the gasket, meaning a clean result is difficult to achieve. However, the surface being scraped is not damaged
CENTER PUNCH
Application Used to mark parts.
PIN PUNCH
Application Used for romoving and replacing of pins, and for adjusting of pins.
The punch tip has been hardened, with tempering. Two sizes of punch tip match all pins. Incorporates a rubber cushion, which ensures that the part is not damaged when stuck.
AIR TOOLS
Air tools utilize pressurized air, and are used for removing and replacing bolt / nut. They enable work to be completed quickly. Handling caution 1. Always use at the correct air pressure (Correct value : 686kPa ( 7kg / cm2)) 2. Inspect air tools periodically and apply air tool oil for lubrication and rust prevention. 3. If the air tool is used to completely remove the nut from the screw, the strength of the rotation may cause the nut to fly off. 4. Always fit the nut to the screw by hand first. If the air tool is used right from the start, the screw thread may be damaged. Be careful not to overtighten. Use a lower power range to tighten. 5. At the end, use a torque wrench to check the tightening torque.
