RECONFIGURING THE WIRELESS ACCESS POINT

A. CONFIGURING THE HW550-3GS WIRELESS ACCESS POINT 1. Connect the power adapter on the Aztech HW550-3G then turn ON the device 2. At the back of your computer look for the Ethernet port, connect an Ethernet cable to your computers Ethernet port then connect the other end of the cable to the Aztech HW550-3Gs LAN port 3. On your computer open your Internet browser then type 192.168.2.1

4. An authentication page will pop-up, type admin for the username and admin for the password then click OK

5. This will open the HW550-3Gs Web User Interface, Click Advanced Mode.

6. Click on Wireless> Settings, you can change your SSID from this page, the SSID is the wireless network name that will show up when you scan for wireless networks from your computer, if you made any change, click on Apply to save the changes

7. To set the security for the wireless, click Wireless> Security, select the security type that you would like to use then click Apply

B. CONNECTING TO THE WIRELESS ACCESS POINT FROM YOUR COMPUTER

1. Restart your computer 2. Ensure that the computers wireless device is switched on 3. Scan for the available wireless networks from your computer, look for your own wireless network, connect to your own network and input the required wireless password, which youve set earlier Note:

1. If your computer is already connected to the wireless network and cannot access the Internet, make sure that the IP address and DNS Server address are obtained automatically
