Sanjeev Nanda as a devoted Son and Grandson

Modern civilization has witnessed evolution in this century; however, the advancement of science and technology is dwarfed, if one considers the transformation of the human mind. Moreover, how much of it has been for our good, is debatable. If we look back at how the Indian society was, two to three decades ago; the contrast is shocking. Our mindset has changed and our rigid beliefs melted due to the advent of a practical approach and the intervention of the western lifestyle. However, amidst these glittery changes, have we lost anything? This is a question that seeks reflection. The hustle and bustle of the modern life has tiptoed into our peaceful space and has silently taken away the building blocks of our strength and character, which is our understanding of the importance of Family. The prominence of a family, as a unit, is imbibed through the Indian Culture and it is left paralyzed if the value of a family is removed from it. The fast-paced lifestyle, self-centered approach and loss of moral values have seeped into our society like termites. The importance of growing together as a single entity and supporting each other individually have lost its meaning and very few realize the importance of a family in this present-day era. Mr. Sanjeev Nanda, a successful entrepreneur, like most eminent personalities in the business world, understands the significance of time and family. The corporate world never sleeps and most of the business tycoons are heard complaining of how short the 24-hour span is. And in this swamped lifestyle, family takes a backseat. However, very few personalities like Mr. Sanjeev Nanda can strike the right balance between work and personal life. Hes not only caring and supportive towards his immediate family, but he also understands the value of a joint family. While at present, sentiments toward a family is just confined to the micro units (Husband, wife and children), Mr. Sanjeev Nanda is a person who is very tender towards all members of his family. He understands the values and morals of the Indian culture and truly respects the elderly. Moreover, the special bond that he shared with his grandfather holds a message for society. He understands that the expectations of the elder members of the family are minimal. At a fragile age, they expect to be tended to with care and love. They only seek care and respect, but are often ignored by the younger generation that hurts them beyond repair. They are the pillars of a family and have nurtured their children through sacrifices and values and we must attribute our success to them.
