Notes
Beginning with the spring 2013 administration,
students were assessed on the new MCA-III
Reading Standards which represent the MN
adoption of the Common Core English language
arts standards in their entirety. Results between
2012 and 2013 are therefore not directly
comparable.
Compared to the MCA-II in 2012, MPS saw a 15
point decrease in proficiency overall on the new
MCA-III Reading Standards in 2013
