Course Objectives: The Primary aim of this course is to explain the basic principles of Microprocessors
&Microcontroller. The course is also helpful for the students preparing for GATE, UPSC Engineering Services
and several other competitive examinations.
Prerequisite: Digital Electronics
Learning Outcomes:
Upon completion of this module, students should be able to learn & discuss :

Operations of 8-bit microprocessor and 16-bit microprocessor.


Interfacing of 8259, 8257, 8255, 8253, 8155, 8279 chips with 8085 microprocessor.
Different types of memory system.
Internal architecture and data processing of a computer system.
