When you call have the following ready: September 21, 2009
• Your Company ID number (Badge ID number). Doylestown Country Club
• Your location and telephone number.
• The name of your department head or supervisor.
• The Asset Tag number on your computer.
• If this is for new equipment, we will need the purchase
order number.

If you need supplies for your printer:


• Ink jet printers …. Call SystemsNet and they will set up a
ticket with the IU’s tech department to forward ink

Dr. Kevin J. Miller, Supervisor of the BCIU Hearing Support Program, was selected to
participate in the 2009-2010 Pennsylvania Education Policy Fellowship Program (EPFP).  The
purpose of the program is to develop a broadened understanding of the policy process and
the various aspects of education policy.  It involves ten full-day seminars in Pennsylvania, one
regional leadership forum, and one national policy forum.  It also features a unique partnership
with the U.S. Army War College in Carlisle, Pennsylvania.  The EPFP is limited to a cohort of 30
professionals from education, government, military, human services, business, and community
organizations.

BCIU Co‐Teaching Conference

The Bucks County Schools Intermediate Unit # 22 is pleased to announce


the two-day Co-Teaching Conference to occur September 22 and 23, 2009. 
Teachers and administrators are encouraged to attend as teams in order to
examine and plan for the implementation and continued success of Inclusive
Practices.  Registration is available by clicking here.

The enduring understandings for the conference include:

1. Planning for students' needs based upon recent research on Differentiated


Instruction and effective instructional strategies will provide meaningful
opportunities for student learning.

2. A solid understanding of each teacher's roles and responsibilities prior to instruction is


essential for the successful implementation of Co-Teaching.

3. Strong leadership with clearly articulated roles and responsibilities is necessary to support
the collaborative nature of Co-Teaching.
