In 1989, community and social activists Emma L. Bowen and Dr. Everett C. Parker launched the oundation !or "inority Interests in "edia with the hel# o! the com#anies they ho#ed to serve. $he oundation%s mission is to #re#are minority youth !or a &road s#ectrum o! careers in media and #rovide the industry with a diverse, well'trained talent #ool.
