GE Oil & Gas today announced the opening of the most modern logistics base for the Brazilian oil and gas sector. With an area of 590 000 s!uare feet and in"estments that e#ceed $%00 million GE&s base in 'iteroi in the state of (io de )aneiro *as designed primarily to load and unload installer ships. +hese "essels carry hea"y e!uipment such as giant reels of fle#ible pipes and target the mobilization and maintenance of oil *ells.
