Develop your skills as a Mentor

to support women in IT and Construction


The WAVE Project is looking for women working in IT and Construction and the Built Environment, who want to join a Mentoring scheme, gain accredited skills as a Mentor and progress their careers. If you are keen to share your experience to benet other women in these sectors, we want to hear from you. WAVE will provide access to Mentoring training through the Institute of Leadership and Management at Level 3 or via the University of South Wales as a Post Graduate Certicate in Mentoring. You will then be part of a new specialist Mentoring Scheme to support women in IT and Construction who are involved in the WAVE Project. The skills and know-how from the programme will also benet your employer and can be used to support others in the workplace.

Participation as a mentor or mentee will:


assist your career development and progression develop your listening, questioning and communication skills enhance your management and leadership skills increase your skills and condence to set and reach personal and career goals enable you to support other women in Construction and IT widen your network for business and raise your prole improve your performance and eectiveness, at work and beyond

We are recruiting now for mentors and mentees


Cost: Fully funded by the Welsh Government and European Social Fund. Eligibility: Women employed in Construction or IT living, working or running a business in the Convergence areas of Wales.

Mae'r Prosiect WAVE yn edrych am fenywod sy'n gweithio ym meysydd TG ac Adeiladu a'r Amgylchedd Adeiledig, ac sydd eisiau ymuno chynllun mentora, meithrin sgiliau achrededig fel Mentor a datblygu eu gyrfaoedd.Os ydych chin awyddus i rannu eich proad i fuddsoddi menywod eraill yn y sectorau , ni eisiau clywed oddiwrthych chi. Bydd WAVE yn rhoi mynediad i hyorddiant Mentora drwy'r Sefydliad Arweinyddiaeth a Rheoli ar Lefel 3 neu drwy Prifysgol De Cymru fel Tystysgrif l-Raddedig mewn Mentora. Byddwch wedyn yn rhan o Gynllun Mentora arbenigol i gefnogi menywod ym meysydd TG ac Adeiladu sy'n rhan o'r Prosiect WAVE. Bydd y sgiliau a'r hyn a ddysgwch o'r rhaglen o fudd i'ch cyogwr hefyd a gallwch eu defnyddio i gynorthwyo eraill yn y gweithle.

Bydd bod yn fentor neu fentai yn:


cynorthwyo datblygiad eich gyrfa datblygu eich sgiliau, cwestiyna a chyfathrebu datblygu eich sgiliau ac hyder i osod a chyraedd cyfeirnodau gyrfa gwella eich sgiliau rheoli ac arwain a'ch sgiliau personol eich galluogi i gefnogi menywod eraill ym meysydd Adeiladu a TG ehangu eich rhwydwaith busnes a chodi eich prol gwella eich perormiad a'ch eeithiolrwydd, yn y gwaith a thu hwnt
