This project is designed to provide a soft and smooth start to a 3 phase induction motor. The three phase induction motor during the initial starting condition draws up much higher current than its capacity and the motor instantly reaches the full speed. This results in a mechanical jerk and high electrical stress on the windings of the motor. Sometimes the windings may get burnt.

This is a project used for displaying messages in scrolling format on an alphanumeric LED display. This type of scrolling system is applicable in public areas, on transport vehicles, advertisements, railway platforms, banks, hotels, nightclubs etc. Here a DC voltage of 5V is drawn from power supply voltage regulator is fed to micro controller of 8051 family. The circuit uses 16 segment alpha numeric displays to show 16 characters at a time.

This project is designed to give a display of water level in a tank. The reading given is in the sale of 0 to 9. A priority encoder is interfaced to a decoder to get the display of water level on 7 segment display. This is the circuit designed for overhead tank digital water level indicator. It is built around priority encoder, BCD-to-7-segment decoder, 7-segment display and a few discrete components.

The project is designed to generate high voltage DC using Marx generator principle by using MOSFET and capacitor stacks. This demo project consists of 4 stages and each stage is made of one MOSFET, two diodes, and one capacitor. MOSFET is used as a switch; diodes are used to charge the capacitor at each stage without power loss.

Edgefx Technologies Pvt. Ltd (Edgefxkits.in) provides this project "Phase Sequence Checker for Three Phase Supply" for final year EEE students.
This project is designed to check the sequence of the 3 phase supply. It is very important to know the phase sequence particularly for 3 phase motors. In this project direct 3 phase AC supply 50Hz is fed through voltage drop arrangement duly stabilized by zener diodes to a logic circuit comprising of NAND gates and OR gates to detect the proper sequence of RYB by series of pulses of fixed duration.

Edgefx Technologies Pvt. Ltd provides this project "Automatic Dusk to Dawn (Evening on to Morning Off)" for final year ECE, EEE and EIE students.
The main objective of this project is to design a system where light will remain on only from dusk to dawn. This system is based on an LDR, it senses the change in intensity of light and its output changes accordingly. The output of the LDR is fed to a 555 timer in astable mode, which switches on light during dusk and switches off at dawn. 555 timer controls the load through a TRIAC.

This project is designed to generate an alarm signal in the event of breaking of a wire in loop. The project uses a buzzer to alert the user. This system is built upon using a 555 timer in astable mode. A transistor is used to trigger the timer, whenever there is a break in the wire loop. In the project a detachable jumper is used as wire loop. If the same is removed it triggers the 555 timer which in turn triggers a buzzer making an alarm sound.
Product Code:

This project is designed to develop a touch sensitive switch to control any load. A 555 timer is used in monostable mode to drive a relay to switch ON a load for fixed time duration. The 555 timer is triggered by a touch plate connected to its trigger pin. The output of 555 delivers logic high for a fixed time interval as decided by the RC time constant connected to the timer. This output drives a relay which in turn switches ON the load for that duration after which is switches OFF automatically.
Product Code:
216
The project is designed to develop a time delay based switch to control any load. A 555 timer is used in monostable mode to drive a relay to switch ON/OFF a load for fixed time duration. A time delay based relay is a relay that stays on for a certain period of time once activated. This circuit is made up of a simple adjustable timer circuit which controls the actual relay.
Product Code:

Embedded system requires a regulated power supply. This power supply circuit gives a variable regulated supply and switches off in no load condition. Through an arrangement of voltage regulator 7805 and a potentiometer the output voltage is varied from 3.7V to 8.7V. Another feature of this power supply is, when no load is there it automatically switches off. It is achieved through an arrangement of transistors and relay.
