The Medical Center will again provide their popular and easy state-of-the-art diagnostic services with trained
professionals and clinical specialists on hand. It is one of the most comprehensive health analysis programs
offered in conjunction with a major participating sports event. Best of all, the testing is free.
Services provided will include: sleep screening, sports and chair massage, fitness level testing, running form
analysis, pulmonary function testing, blood pressure screening and body fat composition measurement. The staff
present will personally review test results and provide medical information.
In addition, adjacent to the Health & Fitness Expo, the Holiday Inn/University Plaza Hotel will serve its delicious
pre-race pasta dinner, from 4:00 - 9:00 pm. Everyone is invited to enjoy pasta, fresh garden salad, bread,
dessert and beverage, and it’s all FREE when you present your race number at the door. Additional tickets may
be purchased.

—Cash Prize Rules—
All eligible participants are entered into a random drawing for $10,000 in cash to be given away at the post-race Awards
Ceremony. The $10,000 cash prize drawing rules are as follows:
You must be a paid registered participant in the 1.5 Mile Fun Walk, the 5K Run/Walk, the 10K Wheelchair Race or
The Medical Center 10K Classic. A participant can qualify for the cash drawing in more than one event, provided
they are registered in each event.
All participants who complete their event prior to the start of the awards ceremony are eligible to participate in the
$10,000 cash prize giveaway.
As you cross the finish line, you will be assisted in placing your entry in the prize drum. Every participant has a
tear-off at the bottom of their race number. This tear-off goes directly into the prize drum. It is each participant’s
responsibility to insure that the correct tear-off is placed in the drum. Only those tear-offs that are marked
“$10,000 Cash Drawing” will be eligible for the drawing.
The Awards Ceremony will start at 10:30 am (CDT) on Saturday, October 31, 2009 at Guthrie Bell Tower on
WKU’s Campus.
After announcement of the overall winners, the $10,000 Cash Prize Drawing will take place. The $10,000 will be
awarded as follows: $2,000, $3,000 and $5,000. After each name is drawn, that person will have one minute to
appear on stage. If that person is not present, the process will be repeated until a winner is found.
Each winner must have positive identification and be able to show it when appearing on stage.
A Form W-9 must be completed by each winner prior to being awarded prize money. All income taxes
related to prize money are the responsibility of the winner.
Corporate officers of The Medical Center, Commonwealth Health Corporation, and their immediate
families are not eligible to win. (Immediate family includes husband, wife, mother, father, son and daughter.)
All timing is under the direction of Premier Sports. All decisions are final.
Not only will you enjoy the best in genuine hospitality, but
you’ll enjoy a comfortable and relaxing stay in one of our 218
stylish and spacious guest rooms, including 22 suites. Each room

—Electronic Chip Timing—
Electronic Chip timing will use Chrono Track, the latest
innovation in timing technology. ChronoTrack provides
superior reliability along with the use of a disposable
system called D-Tags. Chrono Track technology will
be used for all participants in a competitive event,
including the 5K run/walk, 10K Wheelchair Race and
the 10K Classic. Your chip time is not the official time;
your official time is from the gun start to the time you
cross the finish line.
On-site results will be available shortly after the
first finishers and updated at regular intervals
throughout the race. Online results will be posted to
www.premierraces.com.
Disposable electronic tags and timing are provided by Premier Sports, Central
Ohio’s Premier running,
“D” Race Timing Tag Instructions
walking, inline and cycling
resource. Participants may
pick up their personalized
electronic tag at the Health &
Fitness Expo on Friday or at
the race site on Saturday.
