MESSAGE FROM THE PRESIDENT OF
COLLEGE OF RADIOLOGY
With great pleasure we welcome you to the frst KSR-CoR Friendship
Symposium. This one-day symposium is held together with our ASM to
maximise the benefts from this meeting. The theme is Cardio-vascular
Imaging - a subspecialty of Radiology that many of us are not well-exposed.
Experts from both countries will share with you their knowledge and updated
fndings in this interesting and emerging feld. This event will also provide
the setting for future collaborations between Korea and Malaysia.
I would like to give a special thanks to Professor Tae-Hwan Lim, President of
the Korean Society of Radiology (KSR) and Prof Jongmin Lee (International
Liaison Offcer of Korean Society of Radiology) for making this happen.
From the Malaysian side, a special thanks to Prof Yang Faridah Abdul
Aziz and Dr Amran Abdul Rahman who took all the troubles to visit their
counterparts in Seoul during the fasting month of Ramadan. A big thank to
Ms Jessie Fung for coordinating the two societies.
Malaysia is Truly Asia! And Kuala Lumpur is a dynamic, modern and
multicultural city. There are a fair number of good Korean restaurants in
town too. Please take this nice opportunity to explore Malaysia and have a
fulflling and enjoyable stay in Kuala Lumpur.
Yours sincerely,
Abdul Rahman Mohamad
President
College of Radiology

MESSAGE FROM THE PRESIDENT OF
KOREAN SOCIETY OF RADIOLOGY
On behalf of the Korean Society of Radiology, it is a great pleasure for us to
hold our Friendship Symposium in Malaysia. Friendship Symposium has
been held four times during the past two years in Asia with much success
and I am sure this symposium will be another successful one.
The theme of this symposium is cardiovascular imaging. I would like to
express my special thanks to our subspecialty society, KOSCI. With their
help, we have made a great program with our colleagues of MCoR. I hope
this symposium will be a great opportunity to update the latest knowledge
for all participants and believe this symposium will be the starting point
for a good relationship between the two societies. I especially thank the
MCoR for their warm hosting of this symposium and their generous and
considerate hospitality. I wish both societies much progress in the future.
Tae-Hwan Lim
