The standard 84 types of tips are available for various kinds of soldering work.
Even if using a tip having such a superior heating element and highly advanced sensor, when the tip shape
is not suitable for the work details, we would not create sufficient work. This FX-951 work out for various
kinds of soldering including lead-free soldering with a full line-up of tips. We provide 84 types of tip "Special
application" and "heavy duty" to enable soldering work to be more reliable and easier. This is a new
HAKKO standard that leads the world lead-free soldering industry.

Suitable for various kinds of applications from touch up to heavy duty application.
The highly advanced technology required for touch up as electronic products become diversified. The 84
types of tips (T12 series) that the FX-951 provides as standard include various types such as a thin and
sharp type used for micro-soldering work and a type considering an IC shape used for rework to provide
the highly advanced function required for the tip with various shapes.
Space-saving vertical design allows more space on the work bench
The FX-951 unit employs is designed in a vertical design that saves more space than convention-
al units, considering the space efficiency required for cell-line work.The neat and cool designed
unit with dimensions of 80(W) x 130(H) x 131(D)mm makes more space on the work bench.

We also focused on the iron holders that are used

hundreds of times a day.
We employ multiple specifications enabling the angle of the
iron holder to be changed freely to comply with various oper-
ation such as standing work and sitting work. This improve-
ment is small, but is sure to lighten the worker's burden.

Thermal control function

The special control card can lock the set temperature. Furthermore, it allows you to
set the lower limit temperature to inform you by emitting an alarm if the temperature
rapidly decreases during the soldering work. The digital offset system make it easier.

Antibacterial color sleeve enables the tip replacement to be
easier and more comfortable.
3-color sleeves are provided to allow you to use a different
color for each tip shape.
Sleep function to prevent the tip from being oxidized
and to extend the tip life
This station is equipped with the sleep function to reduce the
temperature to 200C when the tip temperature does not vary
in a given period, to reduce the occurrence of oxidation on the
tip, which is likely to occur when performing lead-free soldering.
This function not only extends the tip life but also prevents ther-
mal transfer failure and unwetting phenomenon due to oxida-
tion on the tip from occurring.

Energy-saving automatic power shut-off function

In this age when many companies are focusing on environmen-
tal consideration by committing to ISO14000, we have provided
an automatic power shut-off function to enable energy saving.
If the tip temperature does not change beyond a specific time,
the power will be automatically turned off. Even if you forget to
turn off the power upon completion of work, the power will be
automatically turned off.

At the initial setting, either the sleep function or the automatic power shut-off
function can be selected.
The composite tip shows a great thermal recovery and thermal accuracy
We develop the composite type combining the tip, heating element and sensor. This
technology allows the tip itself to sense the heat and generate heat, realizing the
ultimate style. Furthermore, it is a small tip head but powerful. This ideal system, provid-
ing the highly advanced thermal control required for lead-free soldering, allows the lead-
free soldering work adapted in the most advanced electronics technologies.
NOTEThe temperature were measured using the HAKKO 191 thermometer.
