Vocational Training:1. I had undergone 15days observational summer training in 4th semester at Thermal Power Plant Sarni.(M.P.), The training field was on Power Plant. The training was about networking inside the project area.

Summary Of Skills & Experience:Look out for both Operation & Maintenances.
In Operation: Responsible to maintain Active & Reactive Power, Power Factor, voltage, for the Generator of rating 25MVA,1640Amps,11KV,2 Pole,50HZ. Involved in Synchronizing procedure of Generator with Grid of 11/33KV line. Involved in maintaining TG when they are separate from Grid by putting KW & Frequency command on the respective TG by the Governor, Also maintaining increased or decreased load on Governor. Having a bit knowledge of Cold & Hot startup of TG. Involved in operation like Increasing & decreasing Load, starting up CEP,AOP,EOP, Maintaining HotWell Label, and some more normal operation for both the Turbine and Generator which will be held on DCS system. Some executive decision to be made under some emergency condition like Load Shedding, Maintain load at low pressure & High export conditions, Maintain furnace at High import condition from Grid.& many more like that. Special Responsibility : Taking on Dead-Bus & Synchronizing of TG. Transfer of Plant Auxiliary Power when needed. Watch out for starting & stopping a UNIT during Shut-Down. Watch out TG at Plant DARK-OUT & get quickly out of it.

In Maintenance: Maintenance of all the Generators & D.G. sets. Watch out for maintenance of all types H.T. & L.T. Motors. Watch out for maintenance of both Indoor & Outdoor Circuit Breakers. Look out for routine maintenance of Battery & Charger of respective TG Look out for routine maintenance of MCC,PCC & Control Room Panels Feeders, SFU,Contactors,Relays etc. Involved in maintenance of VFD-Room & Drives. Watch out for the maintenance of all 30/35 MVA Transformer,& all Auxiliary Transformer bellow 6 MVA with all Lighting Transformers. Also watch for 11/33 KV Switch yard and 11 KV Bus Bar Chamber with LA,CT,PT,SC. Of respective area during shut down. Special Responsibility : Bearing change in all types of H.T. & L.T. Motors. Maintenance of all Ear thing & Ear thing-Pit. Job planning during Shut Down period & responsibility to complete all of them. Maintaining 5S system for Plant. Involved a little bit of Mechanical job.

In LDC: In LDC I maintain the load for all direction of Furnace like IT,MT,ET & SAF with total capacity of 199tons. I maintain it by giving load which we generate from our different power station by DCS system. Maintain Export & Import Power from Grid as directed during Shut Down period. As An DET: In this training period I attained several classes on Boiler, Turbine, & on Electrical parts. Learned what to do in faulty condition, What to do in emergency period. How to work safe. Learned also managerial skill at it best. Maintain both the levels also. At last in over view I learned to how to work in professional line.

Project Supervisor: In this role I inspect the project site. Maintain the file works. The equipment indent in proper time and what more to indent. The rating of item indented was proper or not. Where to store them & where to install them, by taking proper care of them. Observe the Tested equipments. Involved in Panel shifting, Cable laying, LCS checking, Motor shifting & Feeder checking. Watching Testing & installation of Transformer. Watching overall Project. At last we make our Power Plant Environment Safe and Clean.
