Ahe shoots o"ten had to ta3e place in the i$$ediate *icinit o" the "ashion house. ,hen shooting on location the $odels had to drape the clothes in !hite sheets that !ere then re$o*ed "or a "e! $inutes "or the shoot. <ou had to be Puic3. -ot the $ost ideal !or3ing conditions, ou $ight thin3, but F.C. Gundlach de*eloped his o!n *isual language. He does not si$pl pro1ect a "ashion i$age, he interprets it. His photographs are "ull o" dra$atic ideas and et still $anage to i$part a "or$al se*erit o" co$position.
