Sir, My client Raheja Developers Pvt. Ltd.215-216 Rectangle one D-4, District Centre, Saket through its authorized person Mr. Amit Asthana has instructed me to send the following legal notice to you:1. That my aforesaid client is a well known real estate developer and colonizer. My client has successfully developed and executed several prestigious and well known real estate projects. My client has established a sound reputation and built a name for itself in the country. The managing director of my client Mr. Navin M. Raheja has a very good reputation in the society. 2. That my client has come to know that you are running and managing a website namely gurgaonscoop and for the last about a month you have been mischievously publishing baseless and false articles on the said website against my client and its officials. It is pertinent to mention here that before doing so you have never bothered to verify the facts. 3 That a bare perusal of your articles especially matter posted by you on 17/11/08, matters posted by you purported to have been sent by some allottees of the projects of my client and by some unknown persons posted on 18/12/08 and 19/12/08 show your malafide and dishonest intentions. The matter published against my client and its managing director is absolutely baseless, false, untenable, frivolous, scurrilous, per se defamatory and aimed at harassing, pressurizing and blackmailing my client and its officials. 4 It is apparent that several unscrupulous persons who had booked some apartments with my client with a view to make quick profits are not willing to abide by their contractual obligations. Due to sluggish economy they could not earn quick premium and now they do not want to pay their installments in time in accordance with the terms and conditions of agreements admittedly executed by them. In order to somehow justify the breach of the terms and conditions of allotment they are adopting such like pressure tactics so that my client may not take action as per agreements made by

such defaulters. These persons have colluded with you and in conspiracy with them you are resorting to totally unauthorized and illegal acts which can not be justified in any manner.

5 That my client is facing threats of illegal extortion of money by you and your associates. In conspiracy with your associates you are deliberately posting and publishing imputations against my client and its officials thereby harming their reputation. You know it well that such postings and publications are causing huge loss and injury to my client and its officials, especially its Managing Director, Mr. Navin M. Raheja. You cant recklessly post such matter on the internet which is causing huge damage to the reputation and prestige of my client. Your entire action smacks of malafides. My client has also come to know that good feedback and remarks sent about my client and its officials by many persons have not been published on your site. In fact in collusion with your associates you are out to create mischief, to harass, pressurize and arm twist my client not to take action against defaulting allottees. You cant get away with such misdeeds. You are misusing you website for illegal puroses. 6 That you have committed serious criminal offences and have also incurred liability to pay huge damages. By this legal notice you are hereby called upon to forthwith desist from publishing such like defamatory matter against my client and its officials, to forthwith remove the said objectionable and defamatory matter from your website and not to repeat such illegal acts in future failing which my client and its officials shall take appropriate civil and criminal action against you entirely at your costs and expenses. My client specifically reserves its right to take legal action against you for the unauthorized and illegal acts already committed by you. This is without prejudice to the other rights and remedies of my client.
