Your Resume in RESUMIX

Resumix is an automatic rating and ranking system that compares resumes with preestablished selection criteria for individually announced vacancies. If you wish to apply for SDDC / Army positions, you should first build your resume in the Army Resume Builder: http://acpol.army.mil/employment/ The Resume Builder is an easy step-by-step process letting you build / edit your resume to your satisfaction using the websites criteria. Once finished, you can upload your resume to process it through Resumix where it will be stored until you are ready to apply for a vacancy announcement. Once processed and stored, you are ready to apply for a SDDC / Army vacancy announcement: simply click the self-nominate button of each announcement your interested in. This tells Resumix that you want to be considered for the vacancy. Your self nomination will go into Resumix where your resume is stored and it will be pulled and matched against the qualifying criteria for that vacancy. Resumix will then prepare the referral list which is broken out by reassignments, transfers, promotions, or special appointing authorities (i.e. Veterans Employment Opportunities Act). The selecting official reports their selection back through Resumix. The key to remember is Resumix does not contact any applicants who has a resume on file to advise them of a vacancy. The secret is to keep checking periodically for open vacancies and SELF-NOMINATE for those you qualify for. All Army vacancies can be found at: http://acpol.army.mil/employment/ All Federal Government, including SDDC & Army, vacancies can be found at: http://www.usajobs.opm.gov/
