Product Overview
SkyWaves DMR-200 series Inmarsat D+ terminals set the industry standard for reliable burst-messaging satellite communications with low total cost of ownership. SkyWaves D+ network operates over Inmarsats high quality international satellite constellation, and is the choice for mobile and stationary asset security and management applications deployed anywhere in the world. The DMR-200 OEM provides a flexible, unpackaged assembly complete with satellite transceiver and D+/GPS antenna, optional GPS receiver, and integrated digital and analog inputs/outputs. A built-in processor and controller board allow the DMR-200 to be set up as a simple modem, or as an integrated controller interfacing to a set of sensors and actuators. Applications
Your customers assets are located in or travel to remote areas out of range from terrestrial communications. They need monitoring and tracking of ships, rail cars, trailers, storage tanks, pipeline stations, well-heads, and more. They need the reliable alarm reporting and two-way communications capability provided by SkyWaves network. Your integrated solution and IP/NEMA packaging can easily adopt D+ communications capability either as the primary or backup link. Connect devices such as distress buttons, tamper sensors, volumetric meters, or text messaging terminals to customize your solution. Various reporting intervals, operating modes and action sequences allow you to build in whatever level of sophistication you need. Integrated GPS capabilities enable location-reporting and precisely sequenced field activities. SkyWaves OEM product offering can be customized to meet your application. Various cabling and connector configurations, equipping with or without GPS and physical size or layout can be tailored to meet your needs. As with all SkyWave D+ terminals, various factory enabled features such as data logging and Doppler correction can be equipped with the OEM terminal. In addition, our manufacturing facility can program the terminal with your customized scripts prior to shipment to your locations if you desire.
