No child shall be em+loyed or +ermitted to )or7 i" a"y of the occ +atio"s set forth i" !art A of the 0ched le or i" a"y )or7sho+ )herei" a"y of the +rocesses set forth i" !art ; of the 0ched le is carried o"< !#.='>?> that "othi"$ i" this sectio" shall a++ly to a"y )or7sho+ )herei" a"y +rocess is carried o" by the occ +ier )ith the aid of his family or to a"y school established by% or recei,i"$ assista"ce or reco$"itio" from% $o,er"me"t. 3. Po4#r o &)#%' h# S(h#'2"# The Ce"tral -o,er"me"t% after $i,i"$ by "otificatio" i" the .fficial -a/ette% "ot less tha" three mo"ths6 "otice of its i"te"tio" so to do% may% by li7e "otificatio"% add a"y occ +atio" or +rocess to the 0ched le a"d there +o" the 0ched le shall be deemed to ha,e bee" ame"ded accordi"$ly. 5. Ch!"' L&/o2r T#(h%!(&" A'6!,or1 Co))! ## (1) The Ce"tral -o,er"me"t may% by "otificatio" i" the .fficial -a/ette% co"stit te a" ad,isory committee to be called the Child Labo r Tech"ical Ad,isory Committee (hereafter i" this sectio" referred to as the committee) to ad,ise the Ce"tral -o,er"me"t for the + r+ose of additio" of occ +atio"s a"d +rocesses to the 0ched le. (&) The Committee shall co"sist of a Chairma" a"d s ch other members "ot e(ceedi"$ te"% as may be a++oi"ted by the Ce"tral -o,er"me"t.

(*) The Committee shall meet as ofte" as it may co"sider "ecessary a"d shall ha,e +o)er to re$ late its o)" +roced re. (:) The committee may% if it deems it "ecessary so to do% co"stit te o"e or more s b2committees a"d may a++oi"t to a"y s ch s b2committee% )hether $e"erally or for the co"sideratio" of a"y +artic lar matter% a"y +erso" )ho is "ot a member of the committee. (@) The term of office of% the ma""er of filli"$ cas al ,aca"cies i" the office of% a"d the allo)a"ces% if a"y% +ayable to% the chairma" a"d other members of the committee% a"d the co"ditio"s a"d restrictio" s b4ect to )hich the committee may a++oi"t a"y +erso" )ho is "ot a member of the committee as a member of a"y of its s b2 committees shall be s ch as may be +rescribed. PART III: REGULATION O- CONDITIONS O- 7OR8 O- CHILDREN 6. A00"!(& !o% o+ 0&r The +ro,isio"s of this +art shall a++ly to a" establishme"t or a class of establishme"t i" )hich "o"e of the occ +atio"s or +rocesses referred to i" sectio" * is carried o". 9. Ho2r, &%' 0#r!o' o+ 4or: (1) No child shall be re1 ired or +ermitted to )or7 i" a"y establishme"t i" e(cess of s ch " mber of ho rs as may be +rescribed for s ch establishme"t or class of establishme"ts. (&) The +eriod of )or7 o" each day shall be so fi(ed that "o +eriod shall e(ceed three ho rs a"d that "o child shall )or7 for more tha" three ho rs before he has had a" i"ter,al for rest for at least o"e ho r. (*) The +eriod of )or7 of a child shall be so arra"$ed that i"cl si,e of his i"ter,al for rest% "der s b2sectio" (&)% it shall "ot be s+read o,er more tha" si( ho rs% i"cl di"$ the time s+e"t i" )aiti"$ for )or7 o" a"y day. (:) No child shall be +ermitted or re1 ired to )or7 bet)ee" 8 +.m. a"d 8 +.m. (@) No child shall be re1 ired or +ermitted to )or7 o,ertime. (6) No child shall be re1 ired or +ermitted to )or7 i" a"y establishme"t o" a"y day o" )hich he has already bee" )or7i"$ i" a"other establishme"t. 8. 7##:"1 ho"!'&1, ?,ery child em+loyed i" a" establishme"t shall be allo)ed i" each )ee7% a holiday of o"e )hole day% )hich day shall be s+ecified by the occ +ier i" a "otice +erma"e"tly e(hibited i" a co"s+ic o s +lace i" the establishme"t a"d the day so s+ecified shall "ot be altered by the occ +ier more tha" o"ce i" three mo"ths. 9. No !(# o I%,0#( or (1) ?,ery occ +ier i" relatio" to a" establishme"t i" )hich a child )as em+loyed or +ermitted to )or7 immediately before the date of comme"ceme"t of this Act i" relatio" to s ch establishme"t shall% )ithi" a +eriod of thirty days from s ch comme"ceme"t% se"d to the '"s+ector )ithi" )hose local limits the establishme"t is sit ated% a )ritte" "otice co"tai"i"$ the follo)i"$ +artic lars% "amely<2 (a) the "ame a"d sit atio" of the establishme"t5 (b) the "ame of the +erso" i" act al ma"a$eme"t of the establishme"t5 (c) the address to )hich comm "icatio"s relati"$ to the establishme"t sho ld be se"t5 a"d (d) the "at re of the occ +atio" or +rocess carried o" i" the establishme"t. These shall be mai"tai"ed by e,ery occ +ier i" res+ect of childre" em+loyed or +ermitted to )or7 i" a"y establishme"t% a re$ister to be a,ailable for i"s+ectio" by a" '"s+ector at all times d ri"$ )or7i"$ ho rs or )he" )or7 is bei"$ carried o" i" a"y s ch establishme"t% sho)i"$ <2 (a) the "ame a"d date of birth of e,ery child so em+loyed or +ermitted to )or75 (b) ho rs a"d +eriods of )or7 of a"y s ch child a"d the i"ter,als of rest to )hich he is e"titled5 (c) the "at re of )or7 of a"y s ch child5 a"d (d) s ch other +artic lars as may be +rescribed. 1*. (&) ?,ery certificate as to the a$e of a child )hich has bee" $ra"ted by a +rescribed medical a thority shall% for the + r+oses of this Act% be co"cl si,e e,ide"ce as to the a$e of the child to )hom it relates.(*) No co rt i"ferior to that of a Eetro+olita" Ea$istrate or a Ea$istrate of the first class shall try a"y offe"ce "der this Act.

19.
