AGI AND TME SYSTEMS SPONSOR

SINGAPORE SPACE CHALLENGE 2009

Philadelphia, USA and Singapore (26 January 2009)—AGI, producer of

commercial software for integrated analysis of land, sea, air, and space assets, is sponsoring
the second Singapore Space Challenge (SSC) along with its business partner in Singapore,
TME Systems. Organized by the Singapore Space and Technology Association, the SSC
challenges tertiary-education students to design a satellite or system of satellites for launch
into Low Earth Orbit (LEO) to observe seaways around Singapore and neighboring countries
for distress signals that might aid search and rescue (SAR) and pirate activity monitoring
efforts. AGI is donating more than $100,000 worth of its space mission design and planning
STK software to the 22 competing teams. TME Systems will technically support each team’s
use of the software. Final entries are due by 30 April 2009. Results will be published at
www.space.org.sg by 30 June 2009.

“AGI is always eager to offer our software and space mission expertise for activities that
promote an interest in space among the engineers of tomorrow,” says Paul Graziani, AGI
president and CEO. Ronald Soo, TME Systems managing director, adds “We are proud to
join with AGI in sponsoring the SSC. We hope our experience with AGI’s software and support
for Asia’s aerospace industry will be a benefit to the teams competing in this inspirational
challenge.”

“We are very pleased that the teams competing in the Singapore Space Challenge will be
able to use software tools that are currently in use throughout the global space industry. We
are positive that this has made the competition more exciting for the participants and we thank
AGI and TME Systems for their sponsorship,” says Adeline Tung, vice president of the
Singapore Space and Technology Association.”

The Singapore Space Challenge started in 2008 with the goal of inspiring space interests
among tertiary-education students and encouraging their participation in space-related
activities. The competition also strives to promote technical and industrial research, challenge
the thinking process and creativity of students, and prove practicality as well as simplicity in
engineering concept and design. The competition also aspires to provide beneficial, practical
and feasible solutions to the space industry in general. For more, visit
