New High School After-school Club Offered to Provide Students with Career and College Research Description of club: (Geared towards grades 10,11,12) Get a head start in finding a career that is right for you. Students will have the opportunity to learn the skills required to compete in a growing global society. They will review careers, create resumes, work on interviewing skills while also learning which colleges specialize in their career outlooks. Students will travel to various locations to get hands-on experience related to todays careers. Upon completion of the course, students will receive a free outfit for a college or job interview provided by American Eagle Bank. CREC has supplied us with a job coach, Nancy Frede, who will be the instructor for the class. Students who are interested should sign up with Ms. Martinez for after-school activities and touch base with their school counselors. Sports Update Boys Basketball


The MLC Middle School Dragons are 4-3 and have made significant strides as they begin to wrap up the regular season. The team has developed a great deal of passion and energy while focusing on teamwork and fundamentals. Girls Basketball
The MLC Middle School Girls Basketball Team collected their second win of the season over MD Fox with a score of 34-15 at home. Leading the charge was 6th grader, Amani Levitan, with a total of 24 points followed by Tierra Turner with six points, four steals and four blocks.
